Kayfun lite- Help Needed Please

Pretty sure roger is right looking at the pics although I don't have that particular model. Looking at pic 6 the unit on the right is the standard kayfun with full size chimney. On the right is the nano kit, if you remove the base from the full size set up you need to remove the top chimney then replace it with the short top chimney. Then you can install the nano kit on the the right of the pic.

The clear window can be used in either mode.

That is the one I have as well.  You can use either the clear or metal middle section.  If you use the smaller sections above and below the middle then it is smaller (nano).  The bigger sections are normal (4.5ml) size.  The only problem I had was which top cap section would allow the longer top chimney to reach and seal.

Greg, that is not what Roger said, he said he had to use the the smaller top section (nano) with the longer chimney as the larger top section did not fit. See:

Make sure that the chimney is sealing into the top cap o ring. If you don't get a seal there it will leak everywhere. On one of that model clone I've got, I have to use the smaller top cap with the full size tanks, the larger top cap o ring comes nowhere near the chimney top.


Is that right? I'm only 3 months into using these but have not touched the smaller sections

Take the base off picture one then take the top chimney of the base. Now put the short top chimney in place of the long top chimney you removed. Now add all the parts in the pic with the clear window to the base.

Probably not being clear.  I have to use the smaller top CAP (the bit the drip tip goes into) not body section.
