Hi there I can't find any vendors with the wireless charging pad in stock. So I was wondering if I buy one off eBay which isn't of the vaporshark brand would it still work?

It does say that all QI systems would work with your new vaporshark, so logically you can use your own charging mat to recharge up your vaporshark, regardless of make or brand :DThe dna40 has a wireless card inside, I have a dna30 with an external card - I removed as it drove me mental!! you should be fine davie87

One thing: So either a USB3 port, or a 1.5/2amp usb adapter required

So long as it gets it's minimum 1.5amps it'll work just fine. Don't want you to be popping fuses on your computer's motherboard then blaming the pad for not working. Most usb2.0 sockets are fused at half an amp.

These 'smart' charging devices ain't smart enough. They identify a device by communicating over the USB, so it's all fine and dandy for iPhones and Android devices and such. The problem is there is nothing to communicate on USB charged ecigs and ego chargers, so it'll just max the port you're connected to. That's a potential 8Amp output Pepperty - I wouldn't recommend these for e-cig use.
