I'm using an EVOD on a Vision spinner set on about 3.3v. I'm getting crackling after inhaling for about 1 second. A short inhale doesn't do it, but a long slow inhale gets the crackling going. Is this normal? I'm guessing the liquid is not getting to the coil fast enough and causing it to dry out. I quite like a long slow draw so wondered if it was a. good for the unit, and b. causing the taste to become more burnt. A bearded traveler is going to drop off a Nautilus mini in a few days so hoping I don't get this with that unit.

so back to vaping crackling. Crackling is as good as real crackling. What's actually happening to the coil? I'm assuming the coil is rapidly vapourising the liquid, which causes the crackling. So heating up well, and not allowing any gunk to form on the coil?

For me . . . it's the sound of a fresh, healthy coil Bobsbeer, the noise tends to lessen as the coil becomes more gunged up I find. |

 I just changed my coil after 2 weeks because it was crackling. And the new one is just as bad. Goes to show I need to be more patient. The old coil probably had at least another week. But I washed it in hot water and have left it to dry. So hopefully reuseable.
