@windows never have the time, not yet but might ask you for a quote in the future if you're up for it, if not just say, not a problem mate. I'll also guarantee the board, if it goes it's my cost....fully aware how easy it is to balls up....

Well this is a new one.
Thought i would have another crack at finishing the bloody squonker after frying the board last week.
So this time when i wired up the new board i checked and double checked all the wires and all good. Got as far dropping the battery in, pressed the fire button and it springs into life.
Great i think, no. First time it says power locked press up and down so i try that, nothing.
Take the battery out leave it a while pop it back in and this time all seems normal until i try to adjust the watts. Nothing on either up or down.
Any you guys come across this before when using seperate tactile buttons as its a new one on me.

No @windows not seen that, do the on-board buttons work? Only thing I can think of if you don't have a wiring fault is if you removed the power switch from the board you need to bridge two of the pads, -ve IIRC, the two at the switch connection ends anyway.

No the onboard up and down dont work either VapingBad and i haven't removed the orginal fire switch, so im at a loss.
Im going to break it down again and remove everything except the power and try testing the onboards. If that dont work then i dunno.
I know one thing it aint going back together in its present form as it seems to be jinked. Im going to wait for the bezel below from Shapeways and start again with a new box.

Decided to go for black buttons and black 510. The 510 has a sort of black japanned finish so not black black, if you know what I mean.
It's a big screen version and I would have like to have seen a bit more of the screen, it's a bit cramped. It's solidly designed and heavier then I expected and comes in at 150g with batteries, the StealthVape is 168g and Eclipse 129g
