Front page news in the Mirror today and various other news outlets that Public Health England has published an independant review stating that ecigs are 95% less harmful than the stinkies (not their term but you get the gist!)
So I wonder what this means for article 20? Apparently the north east may even be prescribing ecigs to elderly cigarette smokers on the nhs!!

Elderly smokers spend an inordinate time in GPs Surgeries, Hospitals, Clinics etc. so say 20 quid or so a week spent on vaporizers and e-liquids could achieve great savings in the future. I think that on the whole it's a positive step forward. It should lead to at least a much better quality of debate in the future.

Could anyone advise me if their is any information available regarding the following parts; Vaping> In Private Cars/Vans: Has the 2006 Smoking Regs.been altered to cover vaping?. Passive Vaping> Been asked if their is any danger involved regarding similar facts of second hand smoking?. Also as their is no odour(?) with vaping, how would someone know you had been vaping if they were not present at the time. Trying to say Is It Legal To Vape In This Way ?.

There are no laws in the UK that relate to vaping in cars/vans. There is no substantial evidence that first hand vaping is dangerous let alone second hand affects. Some juices may leave an odour. It is doubtful that many are unpleasant or would be associated with vaping.

Great post - thank qsplan . I see no mention of France - I assume it's legal there, but as I'm heading over the channel in a couple of months I thought it best to check... Have looked thro' the whole thread- cannot see any mention of Spain. Going over in March for 41st Wedding Anniversary, sure I seen someone vaping last year. Also what are the security requirement(s) for the transportation of pipe & liquids, probably 3x10ml bottles(just in case).

No problem in Spain, youll see others vaping, including plenty of holidaymakers. Batteries in hand luggage, bulk liquids in your hold case small bottles in your carry on luggage with other liquids. I keep a small mod in my hand luggage with a small bottle of liquid. Tanks must be empty for carry on bags or put in with other liquids.

I'll just add this. Q your hints for travelers wise words, but it does seem to vary, last year flew to states, I had 150 ml of juice stashed in hold luggage, usual precautions sealed in zip lock bags and placed in sealable food container, not hint of leak, I also had a half finished carto tank at departures, sealed it in zip lock thinking this will be mess on arrival, leaked no more than it would in my pocket on usual day, it does seem to vary between aircraft, have had some real disasters. As for vaping when away, California was awkward, they very anti smoking and pile you in with the smokers, stealth all the way. Nevada, no problems, vape anywhere (don't know about restaurants as I never do that), in fact in Nevada I think you can do anything anywhere, although I resisted the temptation for Elvis to marry us lol. In Jamaica, the vendors on the beach loved the clouds we were blowing. They wanted to know if we were vaping *honey oil* though. Couldn't actually find out what that is, but I imagine it to be cannabis oil. They have a no smoking policy in public buildings/transport/airport etc., but where we were (Negril) nobody seemed to be aware of the fact!!!!

There is a pretty famous man in some circles named Rick Simpson who made that "honey oil" as a cancer treatment. I'm sure it has other uses but the medical use is how I know of it.

So as I'm sure everyone can imagine our FDA has put quite the scare into people here in America.
Unfortunately for us our states seem to be trying to outdo each other with the worst legislation they can come up with.
Pennsylvania passed a retroactive 40% of wholesale tax on all stock a vape shop carries.
That will decimate the market there.
Connecticut is trying to pass a ban on all flavored e liquid.
I have a feeling that between the federal government and the local government our white/grey market will be gone before too long.
Sadly I believe it's exactly what they want to see happen.

Hope I'm in the right place but apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. It would seem that Fasttech sell my favourite 24mg tipple in 30ml bottles. As they are in Hong Kong, is there anything to stop a chap ordering from them when the new EU law comes in, should that person not wish to participate in that law?
Also, does anybody know if their 'Hangda' branding is similar to (or is indeed) Hangsen?

Hello everyone What about France? In 2016 I bought (in a dedicated shop) those 2 flasks of e-liquid with 16 mg/ml of nicotine. Look at the pictogram (nicotine is considered toxic here in France): s19.postimg.cc/q5jj97vmr/20170321_161425.jpgAs I see it, France has encouraged the vaping business for years but seems quite punctilious regarding the pictograms on e-liquid flasks containing nicotine: what pictograms (or lack of) are there in the country you live in? As I see it, here in France, the restrictions that apply to regular smokers apply to vapers as well. (Please correct me if wrong.) Regards.
