Well i'd be happy to chip in too, and i'll bring the guard dog, although he is not very scarey 
Hopefully can make it depends on the date and work, but last year was a cracking day even though i am not keen on crowds the venue was so big i didn't notice.

Thank you to those who have voted and big thank you to the ones who have offered to chip in and help. When I know costs, I'll do a group pm?
Once again, any suggestions on this will be gratefully received. Its early days but im hoping we can get organised and pull it off!
One thing bugging me, because we will have hot drinks facilities, do we need to worry about health and safety or can we each use our common sense and initiative, being responsible adults (arron included...)

When would it be open, last year campers started turning up at 4 PM on Friday and left on Sunday morning (or afternoon in my case), would it be a Friday and Saturday night social venue for members?


It will be much more effective to have a big ice box (even a plastic dustbin) than a fridge as they can cool shop temperature drinks in less than 10 mins, I cooled about 60 cans with 5 bags of ice last year and still had a few cold ones when I got home.

The idea I have so far is ... a marquee for aaec members to chill on the Saturday during the actual event, where they can help themselves to beverages and have a sit down and a natter.
Anything else, I can't comment on because I don't know any details yet. A lot of attending members did express an interest in a meeting place last year.
Where did you get the ice from VapingBad? These little details will be important later on

I just got my ice from a super market, but you may be able to do a deal with a local bar owner that has an ice cube machine.
