I have an idea once it gets closer and if it is OK with the mods we could sell or auction unwanted kit with the payment going straight toward the shelter fund and the donor paying for postage and packing, I know I can find some stuff that I can't be bothered to sell.
E: not as an alternative to people pledging as enough people would need to pledge to make it possibly, but as a way to supplement that and possibly fund extras or reduce what's needed from those that have pledged.

Mine will be bog standard instant or those 3 in 1 sachets. Folk can bring whatever they like, they'll be helping themselves. Spare coffee if funds allow will be a can of nescafe and a box of teabags! All this will be sorted out nearer the time. As it stands, we don't have any chairs to sit on yet.
Looking forward to the announcement in Feb!
