Hi everyone,
I have now been off the analogues for 48 hrs which is a bit of a record for me lol. i had two ciggys yesterday morning and one this morning.
Just a bit of a run down:
I spent just over 100 pounds with cloud 9 and bought their 510 kit plus extra batterys, attys, cases, juices etc.
Have to say all the hardware has been tried and tested and everything works fine.
Not keen on their juices though. Got some pre filled carts of Marlborough and as said before tastes like burnt toffee. I am using their menthol flavour at the moment but it is very weak and tastes like mild spearmint. It does not vape very well unless I use the drip method to try to get a hit.
Overall I am pleased with the hardware which I assume is a copy of the riva as there are no markings on them.
I will be glad when James comes back though to get some of his ejuices as they seem to be very well recommended here.
Although I am a newbie vaper I am determined not to go back on the analogues. Hope this has not been to boring but thought that I should let you know how I have got on as you have all been so supportive.
Cheers,
Ken.

Ken - well done you. That's a brilliant start. It's a pity that so many newbies are joining up just as James goes on holiday. He does seem to be the 'man-who-can'. Glad to hear all of your equipment is working well. Keep it up.

Brilliant Ken, well done to you. You will find that the atties take a while to actually kick in working properly, once they do your juices will taste much better.
I've just had to work an attie for a day to get it working right.
Keep at it, you're doing fantastically

Ken, you've done brilliantly but I'm sorry your vape isn't top quality I can well imagine that you're not keen on shelling out more money at the mo, but if you get desperate for "acceptable" flavour, how about one of George's multipacks? He does free P&P, and you can choose any 5 10ml bottles for £21.25 delivered. www.oksmokey.com/store/product.php?id=205In the meantime, have a man-style hug (((Ken))) scylla

Hello Ken, I can thoroughly recommend OKSmokey's Drum flavour juice. I don't know how it compares to other flavours and other supplier's juices, but it worked well for me. And OKSmokey ships very quickly too. Oh, and congrats. on your 48 hours tobacco-free, too.....

Aw, cheers Scylla. I can't often recommend on here, as I only ever used OK for my ecig paraphernalia and juice, and now I don't use my ecig too much at all, so I'm hardly an expert. However, the drum juice is a great flavour and George's service was brilliant. And he bent over backwards to help me out when I messed up one of my orders......

Cograts Ken. My vaping isn't 100% yet. I think it probs comes with practise & knowing your e-cig well enough to know what to expect from it. I've been altering my atties each day, as I'm trying not to over work either one. Also, my first battery hasn't needed charging yet, but I'm not experienced enough to be able to tell if it's running down. Keep battling away with it, I'm sure you'll get there in the end

I will suffer on until James returns and get some of the good stuff Thanks for the hug I feel really good now. Ken.

Ken - Crete - OMG, how lovely. Hope the weather there is better than it is here. Half of my garden took off last night - that's how windy it is, plus pouring with rain. Thus everything is where it shouldn't be, and is soaking wet!

Thanks to Hissie,Deesigner,Nana and Hissie for your good wishes and tips. Hissie, you seem to be very lucky not having to charge your battery yet. I have used three batterys yesterday and had to recharge them for today. But then the batterys don't last long in the 510 so as soon as you see the light flashing they need changing. Ken.x

Well done (((Ken))) Your 510 kit isn't a copy of the Riva as such. The 510 has been around for a lot longer than the very new Riva. Have you managed to find somewhere local to you that sells glycerine yet? OK I know it's not going to help with flavour, but it will boost the amount of vapour you are getting from the Dekang juices you have bought from Cloud9.

Oh & Ken, you don't always need to recharge the battery when it flashes. Most generic batteries have a cut off built in that (stupidly) cuts out when it thinks you need to stop vaping for a while. Sort of a clever bit of technology but also so useless!

Hi Hanow,
It can be like that here but only in winter which lasts about 8 weeks. Its 30c here at the moment so a little bit sticky but tomorrow is to be cooler 29c lol.
Hope the weather picks up for you.
Ken.

Really Chrissie I thought that if the light flashed the batt needed charging. They are not automatic batteries I have though it the manual ones. When the light flashes I cannot vape so I assumed wrongly that they were out of charge. Well I feel very silly now lol. Nope have not got the glycerine yet will mabe get some on Saturday when I am in town. Ken.
