mesh wicks in a dripper yay or nay?

Recently Started a Post on the Subject of Me Trying the Mesh Again!....
I'm Still 'Playing' & Just Got My 1st Gennie (Kraken Clone) 'cos of the Favourable ('Flavourable'?..) Results I Got Using Mesh in My Magma.
Current Experiments:- Magma With Single Coil (Ribbon), I've Now Reduced the Length of the Mesh Wick 'cos I was Finding it Hard to Bend it into the Req'd Upside-Down 'U' Shape Without Creasing or Distorting the Coil. I've Now Filled the Bottom of the 'Well' With Bits of Silica, With the Ends of the Mesh Touching. This Works OK & I'll be Trying Mesh Wrapped 'round Silica, Leaving 'Tails' Down to the Bottom of the Dripper Well.
T'Other One is a Vertical Coil in an Igo W, Again Wiv Bits of Silica at the Base.
Kraken/Magma/Igo Builds are All Working Well............For a While!...My Prob. is that My Home-Steeped Baccy Juices are Gunking up Any Coil SO Quickly, Wiv any Wick Material.... ???

Never done it, but have heard the vertical coil dirppers like the Origen are good for this.

thats what i was going to try it in a origen v2 clone, with the origen there was a few little bits of mesh, i am having trouble with wicking with cotton and the juice i am using 70vg i think its not feeding the juice up to the coil quick enough cause it is a thicker liquid, i wouldnt normally get a 70vg but the juice is at its best at 70vg according to the vendors website

Out of Interest, Wot Baccy Juices are You On? I Tried the Mesh Again 'cos Cotton Wicks Fine...Until My Baccy Gunks Up the Coil; No Prob. Re-Wicking & Dry-Burning on RDA, But a Pain When it's 1/2 (or 1/4...!) Way Thru' Orchid/Taifun Tank!

I've not tried it, but as VapingBad says, as long as you can set it up with a vertical coil it should be possible. 3D, Origen etc.

It's gonna be pretty nasty if you don't notice it's running dry, mind you...

Unless you are on a DNA40 with nickel where you'll just get less vapour

I use a vertical coil. and 0.32 mm Kanthal. Don't worry about under wicking, it won't happen. It will wick fine with a tiny amount of mesh but then there is no warning that the juice is running out so I make it on the thick side.
