erl builds

ok got a mini erl 
can i get a decent vape outa it well for the fist 10 drags after setting up yes but then it drops of like a stone
done soooo many diff coils and rewicks im losing faith in the little puppy
help

I've found the Mini Erl a bit trickier to get the amount of wick right - not too tight through the coil, a large chunk around the shoulder (to act as a reservoir to keep the coil damp) and just a sliver going part way down the channel.

I'm also getting what looks like condensation (rather than a leak) on the top of my mod that needs a wipe once or twice a day.


Any Mini Erl users found a short drip-tip that looks good in the Erl adapter?

decoy - I've recently got the erl mini clone from FT. I've only done one build so far, but I've followed the following instructions that I found on the web, and haven't had any problems;

3mm coil (I used 7 wraps of 0.32 for 1.3 ohms)
Plenty of cotton on top (the 'shoulders') but then trim the edges so it tapers off to a thin strand leading half way down the wicking grooves.

ceedee - nothing that looks like it works. The standard drip tip seems the best, i just wish it was 5mm shorter.

I have not got the mini but I do have the Erlkonigin. I never put any wick in the channels I just put a decent amount of cotton through the coil and cut it level with the top of the juice channels. My setup at the moment is NI200, 28AWG, 10 wraps 0.16ohms and a spaced coil.

ive sorta got it running right at 1.3ohm on a mech and its not 3 bad a vape but after messing about with it soooo much im running low on plastic frendly juice lol

when you say you cut it top of the channels im kinda lost any chance of a pick next time you rewick

when i did the mesh and cotton tails it was a nice vape but the wicking wasnt up to it but as yet i havent had juice come out the bottom

thought i had found a right good tutorial for these but it dont like me lol

If you want you can use the Glass from a kayfun quartz kit to replace the plastic tank (NOT the mini glass the normal sized one)

decoy Picture of my Erl prior to juicing up the wick. When I attach the bell it will push the bottom tips of the cotton into the channels. Ignore the rather dirty NI200 coil as I did not have time to change it.

yep thats the way im doing it and no dry hits up to 25 watts its ruddy awesome ,so good ive ordered 2 more lol
i cant thank you enough the flavor and the amount of vape is top notch (way better than my rose clone)
the daft part is peps that have tried it at work asked if i had changed the juice i use but i havent
