To help you we need to know what your Kayfun is attached to. Mech Mod or VV VW box mod and what power setting are you vaping at. The sweet spot for a Kayfun Lite is around 1.4ohms. If you are on 2.0 ohms you would need a bit more power applied to get a decent vape.

Also, how loose is the wick in the coil? If you're using regular cotton wool, you should be able to pull it back and forth through the coil with almost no resistance, it could be that you're strangling your wick?

If it was a wicking fault then surely it would be producing dry hits and a burnt cotton taste, if you not tasting a disgusting burnt taste then it's more than likely an airflow problem, if it's the kfl with adjustable airflow , then adjust the grubscrew to allow more air, if it's the v1 kfl without airflow adjustment then the draw is quite tight anyway , hope this helps

You need to check that all the o-rings are in place and doing their job danliddle. I don't have a kfl so maybe someone could help you sort that out?? lairey?

If juice pouring out of the air holes, it sounds like it isn't making a seal properly. Check all O rings are in place, particularly the one in the top cap that the chimney fits into. How are you filling it? Through the bottom or using the top fill method?

OK, if you're using the top fill method, are you covering the air holes when you fill, partially close top cap, turn upside down and let go of air holes, let the bubble of air rise and continue to seal the top cap. You will then need to put some tissue over the drip tip and blow through the air holes.
It's generally easier to avoid leaks when filling from the bottom as designed.

I only use Kayfun's & never suffer from leaks.......I use silica wicks & coil them with 2mm wire, using the "Navy coil" method......Works every time.......Cotton, to me, is just a pain in the butt & caused me no end of grief...........

Sounds like your wick is not over the juice channels so its flooding. I'll probably be re wicking my kfl tonight if I do I'll get some pics for you. I use jap cotton and I top fill as well.
