Hi just to say you managed to screw it on so it must unscrew as well
I also have a clone and had a similar issue I found after filling, screw the tank on a turn or two (enough to seal it) and then quickly push up the chimney, turn it upright and tighten a couple of turns then screw the tank right down and adjust the juice control down then try and open up as you require, mine is almost completely open with no leaks/gurgles

This is the maximum it will open with the tank on. I'll give it a go over the weekend. After the day i have had at work, I'm not in the right frame of mind

Stick a straight edge up against chimney. Just in case it is bent. Lube up the oring on the driptip with juice ( Durex play or ky) your choice Could it be possible that he has a stumpy kit but full sized chimny. Haven't got the stumpy kit but thought I'd throw idea out there.

Try the tank with the o ring removed from the top of the chimney, obviously do it with an empty tank. Mine was a pain to use until I found an old worn o ring out of something else. Worth a try even if you haven`t got a spare

Thanks for the idea@robby. It's no different, I can feel it hitting the stepped part of the juice control

Sounds like the stepped lip is to high. I'd guess a machining error maybe. Unfortunately mine is full of juice atmo so can't measure it.

If you have the chimney and the atty top separate (off the mod) can you get the chimney through to where it should be

It's straight. I think it's a machining error. I don't own a lathe, so I can't turn it down a little. It will probably work without that o ring, I'm more gutted that it didn't come with the clear tank or any spares
