England bans smoking in cars if kids present, vaping okay

IMO if you smoke whilst driving with kids in the car you should be removed from the gene pool with a hammer to the head - not to protect the children from your second hand smoke but from whatever other stupid things you do that could harm the rest of us!

Heard on the news the other day a driver in Aberdeen was caught on camera using a laptop whilst driving   apparently a cyclist with a head cam banged it up and YouTube and the offender got a healthy fine and ban. It's difficult to cater for idiots.

Yes the law on common sense doesn't exist......I have set my car to beep at me at 85mph, at 1am on a dry empty motorway I will cruise at this, I'm breaking the law, yet the morning after in rush hour I could be at 60mph because it's pouring down and there will be an idiot tailing me by 5feet.........

The other day I followed a woman ( it pains me to say ) applying her eye makeup in the rear view mirror, while driving.

Stupid mare.

I don't agree with smoking around children, but i'm getting fed-up with this big brother dictatorship we seem to have now, what's next no smoking in your home. the people that smoke with kids in the car will carry on doing so anyway.

I must be very virtuous LOL (not I still have sins of the heart and am in a minority cultural group). Cos I don't even own a tv nor watch it. I don't have digital radio either cos they don't last long and the technology is 20 years out of date... LOL

I've heard talk of home help etc refusing to enter homes of smokers, a bit tough on those homeowners who are housebound  ???

Yeah when I had a home help I was not supposed to smoke (when I was on the stinkies) for 2 hours prior.

Needless to say I ignored that!

Praise God my current worker doesn't mind vaping as she's seen me on NRT and knows how I need nicotine (She's even against any reduction in nicotine )
