Only if you have children in the car, maybe a little title edit required robby or we'll have to start calling you half a story

It could also have a positive impact on sales of convertible cars I'll stick with my usual rule of banning kids from my car

Will this ban apply to the driver only ? what if the driver vapes a lookalike fag ?, Window tint is going to be very popular, I've no doubt cameras will be doing the enforcement. It's going to be fun.

Well I don't smoke any more, but I am getting really fed up with the "We need to protect our children" and "Think of the Children" justification trotted out all the effing time every time they want to ban something. Funnily enough they don't want to put a school warning light at my youngest's primary school, at least not until there is a fatality.

I think this is a justifiable ban, not just for the sake of childrens health, I would go so far as to say ban vaping in cars period. The amount of vapour produced from some of the set -ups we use, are enough to completely envelop the car in smog, clouding the windows reducing visibility to nil. I have seen this happen and was appalled that the person driving had no windows open, was struggling to drive and wipe the smog from his windscreen whilst still driving! I'm off now before the bullets get me.

It'll only be as effective as it's enforced though . . . daily I still see drivers using using their mobile phones whilst on the move, one hand or an elbow(!) doing the steering.
It's illegal and downright stupidly dangerous, yet it still happens.
I'd imagine our Police forces are thrilled not, at having yet more legislation to enforce.

Maybe if kids were walked a bit more by their "4 x 4 owning yummy mummies", instead of being driven to school & back, they'd be a lot healthier.........Just another way for the government to nick more hard earned cash...........

It's a law that I adhere to anyway and as an adult I made a decision on this all by myself, but regardless any law with the word "fine" in it pissis me off. Yes break a law you go to court and evidence is produced, you then get your chance to defend and the judge and jury make the final decision. The word "fine" typically affects the decent pretty much law abiding people of this country..
Hopefully they will hire some officers with cameras that snoop around hiding around corners trying to catch people, that just feels my belly with joy....!

Heard on the news the other day a driver in Aberdeen was caught on camera using a laptop whilst driving apparently a cyclist with a head cam banged it up and YouTube and the offender got a healthy fine and ban. It's difficult to cater for idiots.

Stupid mare.
