Chef's Vapour: No answer to messages if not a positive?

Welcome scubadude. your first post was a complaint that's all, Join in on the forum, it's a nice bunch.

Chefs are good, not perfect, no one or company is, they will do their best to make you happy. Also some flavours to me, well quite a few actually taste chemically, that's kinda what they are. To others the same flavour will taste loverly.

Update: I contacted Chef's Vapour again, and just had a reply from Karl, who is now trying to sort it for me. So all good news

In response to some of the posts in response:
1. No I'm not the person from Facebook who posted a similar question.
2. No I didn't sign up just to make mischief.
3. Yes it was my 1st and only post to date (I only joined on 11th Feb)
4. Yes when I posted I then went offline (Well, it was Saturday and as Perpetua said, people also have private lives)
5. No mrmotivapr, I'm not a troll.

What I did sign up to the forum for, was: As as smoker of cigarettes for 45 years, who has recently given up (Oct 2014), I've now been gripped with this 'new hobby' and wonderful replacement.
Since October 14, I've been trawling (not trolling) through all the vaping forums, and watching all the informative and supportive video's on youtube which have helped me to kick a horrible habit.
I then found this forum, and it looked worthwhile registering, as everyone seemed so helpful and friendly.

What I didn't sign up for was name calling, or petty accusations!
I've also learnt to only post 'happy posts' in future, so the amateur sleuths don't have a reason to question my reasons for posting

Thanks again to the people who posted helpful replies, my mind's more at ease now with using Chef's Vapour for my supplies. I'll try contact them again with regard to my problem.

My comment was in jest.

I did post a more serious reply earlier saying that chefs vapour are good and will sort you out mate.

I would drop them another line as they are usually super responsive from my previous correspondence with them.

Don't worry you can post negative posts, we will help where possible and try to bring humour to the table to cheer you up.

Congrats on kicking the stinkies mate, I too found vaping a saviour.

Apologies if my 1st post was deemed to be negative by some, I certainly didn't mean it to be that way.
When posting, I thought I was just asking if anybody else had experienced similar problems with Chef's Vapour not responding to messages.

Glad to know that Chef's Vapour is regarded as a well respected vendor, it gives me some comfort that I can count on them in the future.

You know what they say? If you don't ever ask the question, you'll never know the answer.

Its good to post complaints! Yes it is! Because then folk can see how quickly or not issues are resolved and make an objective judgement to use or not. My post was that chefs sorted my issue out swiftly. Ive had issues with other vendors I wouldn't use again but these guys ... I have no hesitation. One of the best IMO.

scubadude- sorry if your first post on this wonderful forum was subjected to a bit of negativity, but we are a really friendly bunch once we get to know you!!
It's usual when joining a forum to post first in the new members area, so that we can all say hello - as so many of us have used Chef's Vapours in the past with great service, you have to understand our guardedness in replying to a new member; I hope you'll forgive us all
Chef's, and indeed many other respected vendors, do all they can to reply quickly and helpfully within business hours. If you are contemplating using another vendor, please ask us first and we can pass on our opinions and reports of good or bad service.
On a much more positive note, well done indeed on kicking the tobacco into touch after so many years. I started vaping about 2.5 years ago after smoking for the previous 40, so I know both how satisfying it is and how much better you will now be feeling.
We have a bit of a mantra here that 'the only silly question is the one that you don't ask'. Fire away, and we'll help where we can; there's a wealth of knowledge here to be shared

Like everyone else i have only had good experiences with chefz vapour.

At the same time it is a bit anal when you ask a genuine question and the MI5 whip out their magnifying glasses and stalk you on facebook

All sorted bud apologizes on missing previous messages. Its a new web site there were some glitchs when customers was replying to a order confirmation or shipping confirmation emails messages where missed but that problem has now been fixed a couple weeks and no one can we reply to them.. Well i hope anyhow..


Any how welcome to the AAEC there are some great mixers on this forum along with some great recipes this is where i started my vaping/mixing journey

I'm pleased to hear your issue has now been sorted . . . the internet/forums can be a tricky place to judge a person's character/intentions, when you've no past history to go by.

Yep (hands up with guilt), in hindsight I should have been more knowledgeable and made my 1st post in the new members area. Lesson learn't :0
Glad to be part of the AAEC forum, and hopefully in time I can gain the experience to be a useful and active board member.

The message issue with Chef's has now been resolved (put down to technical gremlin's). Karl has been in touch and is looking into it for me.
