No reply as yet. Not in any rush now as seems to be ok on the efests.

I am still looking at something new though. Not sure what though. Maybe sigelei 100w or ipv3.

jmw2309, if you want to run a 65W test I've done the maths for you. To hit 65 you need a coil of 0.451 ohms. This will be on the limits of the M65 though. Also, bear in mind, because you're on the limits as soon as the battery volts drops you'll hit one of these limits and the power will drop. With other mods the output would drop but they won't drop the settings to reflect that - the display would still show 65 Watts even though you wouldn't be getting that.

65 Watts is only possible with a freshly charged battery, for a short period, and only with a 0.451 ohm coil.

Ok build is reading 0.4ohm on my ipv2 and fires nicely at 50w with a freshly charged vtc5 (the one the m65 doesn't like)

Attached to m65 with freshly charged vtc4 and it says check atomiser. Doesn't seem to be a 510 connection issue.

Yes I have done still no joy.

Also just noticed that 5 clicks locks it but nothing unlocks it again apart from a pin in the reset button!

It's confusing jmw2309. It's says 'LOCKED CLICK 5X' when you lock it, but it says the same when you unlock it!!

Can't you tell I've been right through this mod

Hi Guys,

Long time lurker! ( I joined in 2013!!!)

I think I've identified the issue, I have been running an Xpro M50 since the middle of Jan and it's just started to have the same issue, even on a 100% charged Samsung 25r.

Thought I'd have a look inside, took the battery out and undid the top cap. Juice ingress is, I believe, the cause. I had a fair amount of juice around the 510 innards and wiring, so cleaned it all up with tissue, and thus far (about an hour) it's been behaving. I have an Aqua v2 running dual coil at 0.8 ohms on it, there is some juice leakage from the 510 on the Aqua, I can only assume this has built up inside the M50. There is absolutely no seal on the top cap at all.

Thoughts?

These have been doing it from brand new I believe, no chance of juice getting inside. Maybe removing the top cap has improved the ground connection. Definitely something to look into. Thanks Plugwash
