Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to DIY ejuices.. I joined this forum mainly because of Karma's Chameleon recipe I stumbled upon googling around.. One of my favorite flavors is Maclope's I like ID Cameleon and I think it might be similar to this recipe. One other thing worth mentioning is I'm from Portugal. This could add minor language barriers, but mainly my issue is concentrates availability.. Please be patient. Ok, the questions.. - Do I need to follow the recipe brand by brand or is flexible? Can I use alternative brands? - What is haze? Is it hazelnut? - Natural maple, can't find it anywhere, is it maple syrup? - I want to create this recipe at 50/50, 3/6mg.. Can I buy a 50/50 6mg and 0mg base and just add flavor percentages or is not that linear? Thanks.

Hello madz and welcome to the forum. This recipe is one of my every-day vapes, so I am very familiar with it. M&P (Mom & Pops) Haze is a tobacco flavour. It has been re-named to Tobacco Blaze now. Perfumer's Apprentice stopped shipping Natural Maple as it is apparently inflammable and the airlines won't carry it. I have a stock of it so have not yet had to try an alternative. I think Maple Syrup may be the only choice, although it will change the taste a little. It's best to stick to named brands if you can, because flavours do vary. In terms of the mixing ratios, it's not that simple. The flavourings are PG based and account for 25% of the mix, so buying 50/50 6mg base will not give you the ratios you want. I hope this helps

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome and for the replies. Onedayillquit, Perfumer's Apprentice doesn't have natural maple on their website, they have maple flavor but it's not PG based, it's ethyl alcohol based which I think it's not safe for vaping.. Is your maple PG based?
Also, can you help me solve the PG/VG base issue so I can do a nicely balanced recipe?
Thanks again.

madz I'll wait for someone else to recommend a Maple flavour, as I have only used the TPA natural maple. For a 10ml mix at 50/50 and 6mg you would need: 50/50 nic base 12mg 5 ml VG 2.5 ml Tobacco Blaze 1 ml Grahanm Cracker, Maple and Raspberry 0.5 ml each

1day, u'r awesome!! Thank you so much!
I've found a couple of UK sites with the flavors I'm looking for, but it seems none have them all.. I'd like your help finding a UK site that has them all in order to save money in shipping fees.. I found liberty-flights.co.uk and chefsvapour.co.uk..
Thanks

Is your maple PG based? Welcome to you madz. Just to point out, Ethyl Alcohol I wouldn't consider unsafe for inhalation . . . if you dilute with Vodka, another alcohol - then there's really little difference. I buy and use concentrates containing EA without concern.
