Thanks Jason... Just having a look at all the bits and trying to familiarise myself. I've just filled up three cartomisers, which I actually found very easy considering all the discussion about what's the best way to do it, and so on. I just removed the bungs and dripped liquid onto the filler a few drops at a time until they were nice and wet. I will be leaving them overnight for a good soak as is recommended. Apart from that I haven't done anything else as the batteries need charging (didn't realise you had to charge them for 8 hours the first time), so I'll do one overnight and then perhaps try my first vape tomorrow. OOOEERRR!!!

Yeah but I've read a lot that the liquid can have a really crap taste if you don't leave them to soak for at least 12 hours or whatever, the longer the better?

Riva manual: Charge for 8 hours, then use for 20 minutes, then charge for 1 more hour. Then after that three hours a time for a full charge.

It really isn't necessary but I won't push you against the instructions. The carto will perform better after an over night soak but a couple of hours then a top up will also be fine. You must have the patience of a saint

2 days on one charge, that's superb, do you vape heavily? I've got RY4, plus Grizwald vanilla tabac, and Grizwald gingerbread. I'm bursting to try the gingerbread one tbh hahaha!! I have to go out this evening though so I'm not going to be able to sit and fiddle, daammnn.

The batteries are fine to use straight away Honkey. Personally, I would be more concerned with making sure the carto's are nice and full and soaked. They don't need leaving for 12 hours, but if you have put less than 20 drops in them, let them soak a while and then top them up (thinner liquids will soak in a lot faster than thick liquids). It's all in the preparation

I've put around 25 - 30 drops in each one, as recommended on the instructions you sent. I'll have a look in them later on and see if they can take a bit of a top-up. Cheers for the free drip tip btw! I am using the Boge cartos to start out, I think it's fair to say I'm going to be doing a lot of vaping this weekend anyway.

I was the same Honkey, 8 hour charge till I was told on here I didn't really need to, so sod that and had a go lol As for the 12 hour soak, in my opinion not really required as long as you get them good and wet on the first fill. I find once a drop comes out of the bottom then it's pritty much good to go and blow through and vape it. Occasionally I try to be good and leave it a whole 5 mins before I cave lol A lot of the advice here can be very very confusing until you have the kit in your hands and then it all seems to make sense, now you can see the bits people talk about and ways they explain things. Now stop delaying and give it a go, were all bursting to know what you think

Just put one battery on charge and use the other. I use the condom method, give em 10 minutes then check if they'll take a few more drips from the top, quick blow through then you're good to go. That's what i do and I must have used 100's! As to charging the batteries for 8 hours that is absolute whooey! Those instructions are lifted from old Ni-cad instructions. If you Google "Battery University" and have a read of the site you'll see..... Just get on and Vape man! Then come back here and let us know what you think.
