Hi all,
As the title suggests! Would you be so kind as to give me your fave toffee/English toffee concentrate and percentages? I used to love caramel but find it disagrees with me now. I've tried lorannes and FA, I prefer the FA as the lorrane smells lovely but is just too weak for me. A brief description would be grand also.
Thanks in advance
Chris.

The quest is ongoing, nothing significant to report lately, good toffee seems to be a very hard flavour to replicate.... but I'll get there

I was looking for a toffee note ages bk for a recipe I was working on. Ordered some gingermel from decadent vapours. I know its not toffee but its a stunning flavour. Its caramel, ginger but with a hint of nutiness. In the end this worked perfectly for the recipe lol. Never did find a good toffee. Back to the caramel though BrenD is a salted caramel fiend from memory. That might be worth a punt as well. Just make sure brend's recommendation doesn't have chilli hidden in it

What percentage did you mix Lorann's at out of interest Toondog? Have you tried adding 1 or 2% Vanillin to it, for some extra creaminess & depth. +1 to igual's Gingermel recommendation . . . really morish it is.
