Oh Scyll the little perries are gorgeous - sweet little things. The osprey nest one in Estonia is wonderful and would indeed make a lovely painting. I do like to work from 'life' though, especially at the beginning, then carry on at home from my own photos. Are you offering to fly me out there?? !!! To be honest Scyll - I haven't even unpacked my painting stuff yet. Things keep going wrong for me since I moved. Saw doc for check up on 10th and she said things were okay and said I could book in for knee replacement. It was such a shock after all this time, I said I would like to think about it. Then, suddenly, I had a horrendous bout of constipation (nobody else reading this?!!). I have only ever had it once before, many years ago. Went four days without a poo - then when I did - I've never known anything like it - I will not give descriptions!! But the thing was I had hallucinations - I thought my daughter had rung me to see how I was. I asked her how she knew I wasn't well and she said she had been in here and read about it. I went mad asking how she got into my forums etc. and put the phone down. (all in my mind). Then after a few days, I looked in here to see what I had said - nothing!! My last posts were about the Eagles. So I rang her to see if I had blasted her about going on to my forums etc. - to which she reminded me that she hasn't even got a computer at the moment!!!!! And had not spoken to me for a while. There were other things I thought I had done but hadn't - all very weird. Don't like it. I am getting a bit more back to normal but not quite. Trying to eat all the right things etc and more walking etc. I think this flat has a jinx on me but I will beat the booger!!! I am nowhere near getting all my new furniture yet. Have you got a spare magic wand anythere please Scyll. MMa xx

Dearest MMa, I am devastated to hear what an awful time you've had. Constipation (anyone else reading this? Of course not!), which I had an horrendous bout of after being on codeine for a week 5 decades ago, is a dread of mine and to prevent it my first meal every day is muesli with prunes and apricots chopped into it (among other things, the list is endless ). I know it if I miss a single day but do get fed up with it every now and then, so I'll have a banana sandwich with chopped prunes, wholemeal bread of course. As for your flat - you need help, but you need to be willing to accept help and willing to put your mind to what you want where etc. But first of all you need to know what you want where, and I utterly sympathise with you. You didn't want to move from your cosy home in the first place, you just couldn't cope with the stairs any more Whatever else, please don't be hard on yourself.Talking of dreams (but not hallucinations, how frightening!), last night I dreamt that a man had grabbed me by my arms from behind and was trying to drag me backwards, and I shouted for help, the name of a man I haven't seen for nearly 40 years Weird! In your honour, dear MMa, I'll give the pics and videos a rest for today, so you don't have to do your duty by me when you log on next

Thanks Scyll - don't you dare NOT put the vids & pics on here - it's the first place I come to. My cousin Sue rang me today as we have a huuuuge family wedding happening next month, in London, very posh. I told her about my latest predicament - to which she replied 'Oh I am constantly constipated and take every medication made for it, which doesn't help at all' !!!!!! Not sure that reassured me or what. I know my mum had it and used all sorts of douches and things!! BUT I am NOT having it again!!!! My brekky everyday is much like yours - cornflakes, milk, banana, grapes and tinned manderin oranges. You just made me remember, I have some tinned prunes in the cupboard - but I don't want to over do it and go the other way! It is sort of getting back to normal. I do really love this flat - I've had it all painted yellow!! So sunshine all day. It's just that everytime I want to buy some more furniture (I know what I want) it's out of stock or summat. I've got all my pennies saved but can't spend them!! Managed to buy two wicker chairs on eBay - eldest son collected them for me and they are even nicer than they looked. I just want one more storage chest in this room, then I will be able to get everything sorted. I want one of those tall chest of 7 drawers - it has to be narrow to fit the space available. Seeing your pic of the bath up there ^^^^ makes me wish I had one. I only have a shower room - very nice and has a seat in it but it's not the same as soaking in a bath. Off to eat now and then get on my leccy blanket - heaven!! Thanks for making me chuckle. MM P.S it's heaven having a Lift right outside my door - I can go in and out whenever I want. And I do not have to put up with the continuous roar of the traffic day and night.

Still taking it occasionally on a night time when the pain is bad. MM, I'm sure we can help you spend your money & find you some bargain furniture # #

One of the owl cams has broken down so they've substituted it with a "black-chinned humming bird" (lord knows why it's called black-chinned because the chin looks white to me!) - uneventful as yet, I just joined up a couple of fly-offs 'n -backs: Have I shown you the Estonian "kalakotkas" (osprey)? Fabulous quality cam, makes us Loch Garten fans very envious. This couple are only now doing their "nestorations", they are called Madis (m) and Piret (f), it looks as though Piret is not happy with Madis's advances and we're wondering if he's her true mate ??? I have to record that nest with a background downloader, it's not as easy to edit as my usual so I cannot keep up with all the activity: Link to nest, not lit at night: pontu.eenet.ee/player/kalakotkas.htmlBTW they are funded by the EU. Last but not least, this is the special call that Mrs Decorah Eagle reserves for when hubby has food, so I am told (thanks to Razzle again) - you'll probably have to mute it before she's done

Buy 500g bags of ready-to-eat dried prunes in Sainsbury's and chop 3 into brekky daily. Cornflakes? Hmm, better a high-fibre base, says me sternly

Hmm, better a high-fibre base, says me sternly Hi Scyll - I seem to be getting back to normal now - will the suggested prunes be okay? I don't want to make myself be the opposite now?!!! Re Cornflakes - what do you suggest to replace them with please?? My grandaughter commented on cornflakes as well. I don't really know much about this healthy eating, so please guide me along the way. Fank you MMa xx
