There's an osprey back at Manton Bay, Rutland, he's called 5R - very very short but beautiful video:
Torrents of rain on Decorah eagle!
I was very worried that the Cornish barn owl male was spurning the female, but needn't have worried. (You gotta watch this cos it took me ages putting it together, I can't get timelines on VLC recordings... yet!)

Looks like it's just you an' me, Mma 19th March, morning, "5R" is back from Africa, on his nest, surveying the scene. How beautiful is he? (For one second I thought he was a she cos of all the speckles on his chest.) This is very short and very lovely, WATCH IT OR ELSE I'LL PUT EVERYONE'S NAME ON A BLACKLIST... And here's a lovely barn owl pic from the Barn Owl Trust - just a lovely picture of health

OMG !!! EJ is back from Africa, she's been tidying up the overgrown nest. I didn't know Here's the landing, captured by another: And here's EJ making a starting on the refurb, a long way to go, captured by yet another: AND I DON'T EVEN HAVE MY RECORDER SET UP YET! She's SO early. You can't imagine the relief, there have been many tragedies, didn't realise what they went thru on their migrations. Look at that video quality > Other nests' cams have been upgraded but RSPB is letting Loch Garten moulder.

Dim view of the Manchester peregine perched on its "nest" - there are EGGS! And a frightening view of a pine marten on EJ's nest The nest is supposed to be protected so that these egg/chick-killers can't access it.

Baby eagles sleeping and dreaming side by side:
This lady "989razzle" is recording the Richmond eagles, the Decorah eagles, and the something Bluff peregrines.
Someone thought there was a pip in one of the Decorah eagles' eggs but it wasn't confirmed when checked.

A pip is the tiny hole that the chick makes with the special (forgotten the name of it, senility) thing on its beak to break thru the shell. I haven't checked on the eagles today. Here are the Scruff Bluff (senility strikes again) peregrines, Razzle says the female (Michelle) is heavy with egg I've clipped this out from a longer vid of Razzle's. This is what we're in for, can our hearts stand it?

I haven't got anything for you so far today. Drove myself over the cliff trying to keep up with too many nests, and kept watch on the osprey nest in case the pine marten came back... then slept for 10 hours and have been useless ever since I'm going to have a look at the dear little Cornish barn owls that have such a small following - I'm dying to catch her laying her first egg but she hasn't done yet, and the nextbox cam is pixellating, so very difficult to chop up video of.
