Well i survived my first mixing session and must say, wow.. Once you get the hang of it and a little bit organised it is really straightforward. ended up mixing 6 bottles and have started vaping one and its really lush, a banana , dragonfruit, strawberry concoction called sensual predator.. The only thing I struggle with was shaking the damn things for ages till they got properly mixed, so after trying various tools ended up making myself a little ballon whisk from some 0.4 kanthal i have for coiling. Works an absolute treat - fits a 10 ml bottle and 45-60 secs on the drill and voila super mixed juice.. its a bit heath robinson and cost all of about 3 pence but works, wondered what you old hands at this mixing use to mix it all together.

I think it's sydsut that has cut both ends off of a cotton bud, then at one end, cut upwards a cm or so, twice, then splayed the ends to make a mixing piece for his dremel. A coffee/milk frother works well if you are mixing a larger amount in a cup or beaker. Normally though, for my small mixes, I just shake well for about 60 seconds, then leave for a few weeks

Leave plenty of head room in the bottle then just shake 'n' vape, doesn't take much time or effort, don't even bother steeping with the flavours i use, they taste pretty good from the off.
If you have a USC you could give that a whirl, no effort involved at all, though i personally didn't think it was any better than a quick shake.

Like you I've made a mini wisk to fit the cordless drill. Pretty much same as yours but mine is made with sterling silver wire ( I'm a snob at heart ) at the time all I had was silver or copper or really skinny kanthal lol. Had a big roll of 1mm silver so heath robbinson a wisk. Have tried a crappy battery ultrasonic and that was crud lol.

I'm afraid there's really no substitute for time, but if it makes you happy whisk away

I tend to agree with @gregbon this - a week of steeping for fruits and one-shot concentrates, up to a month for desserts and 2 months for custards. If you get into the habit of mixing regularly canderwood, you will build up a stock of juice which is ready to vape, and then it is no longer a problem.

Blimey!!!!! Weeks and Months??? Mine are counted in Hours and Days! Mine too, in fact, i found an old bottle of DIY Red Astaire from a few months back & i reckon it's lost flavour, it certainly doesn't taste as good as the batch i made last weekend.

My main basic e-juice is Royal Tobacco. I can vape it as soon as it is made, but I prefer it when it has steeped for 2 or 3 days. As I make it 200ml at a time, it will be gone in 6 weeks.
