With so many teams using the Mercedes power train, we should expect them to win the 2015 Manufacturers award. I also am again `pissed off`, that SKY (too expensive cost).have all the races covered, whilst we the licence payers to the BBC get the scraps of replays, and only 10 live race coverage. Hope Ferrari step up this season, and give all Mercedes powered cars a run for their money.

That had to be the most boring race I have seen, and I haven't missed one since BBC first started screening them back in the dark ages. Why.. if the cars were so reliable last year (the 1st year of the new engine rules) should they be so UNreliable NOW?? On a good note it was great to see the rookies perform well, and nice to see Pastor have an accident that WASN'T his fault

For those of you that have sky but not the sports package did you bother to try the f1 channel because I was able to watch it all weekend and do not have sky sports package, I think they must have had a free weekend to lure you in but not sure, if it's still available tomorrow maybe it's one of their free sky sports channels, I will check to see if still got it tomorrow

I'm reminded of the song, 'Things can only get better' & for the first time ever, I seriously thought about switching off & going back to bed to D:Ream!
I wonder if Alonso will bother to return, especially as he's already one engine down.
At least there was rugby for excitement! Not yesterday's though.

Imo the race wasn't spectacular but whose fault is that? So many fans complain it's boring or Mercedes have an unfair advantage, but this is not quite true!
Mercedes 3 years ago had the foresight to start developing the engine and aero package for the rule changes that were to come in 2014 , as far as I know all the others left it till just before the end of the 2013 Season.
Mercedes engine has been a real eye opener, they incorporated in the design some features concerning the Turbo and compressor, where they are fitted in such a position that they run cooler or recieve cooler air, thus producing more power, whilst also allowing the air box/ engine cover to be thinner and more streamlined. Renault failed miserably, hence you now have that little weasel at Red Bull ( Horner) bleeting like a pig and threatening to leave F1 lol I remember the domination Vettel and Red Bull had, and if you recall their wins were really down to the likes of blown diffusers etc, which were a complete bending of the rules, but yet again the powers at B let this go on for ages. I was hoping another team would rise to compete a bit more with the Mercs, but sadly looks like they are still a season behind in development.

You are correct, Red Bull just took it a stage further, I distinctly remember one race when Hamilton questioned Vettel at the weigh in after the race just finished, and said to him how can you be flooring the accelerator in turn 4 , where as everyone else was dropping a gear and off the gas for the same turn. What bugs me is basicly Red Bull were cheating, yet now Mercedes are winning through innovation and design

What bugs me is basicly Red Bull were cheating, yet now Mercedes are winning through innovation and designSome could argue that Red Bull were winning through innovation and design, the cheating allegation ........ never understood that myself. Sure, they pushed the boundaries of the rules to the limit, but any team that doesn't aint getting anywhere.
Like the flexible wing, passed all the tests they could throw at it. Is that cheating or innovation and design. Shortly after the upgraded tests for the wing and the 'tea tray', I remember Whitmarsh (Maclaren principle) admitting that although they were one of the most vocal complainers on the issue, they were the ones that had to do the most structural strengthening in that area.
I do agree that Red Bull can have no complaints this year against anyone but Renault who seem to have taken a massive step in the wrong direction, but what bugs me is the reaction of the press in calling Hamilton a legend and driving god when the Merc clearly has a massive advantage over the rest of the field, yet when it was Red Bull and Vettel who held the advantage, it was all about the Newey designed car that anyone could have won the championship in

No point in me getting up at the crack of dawn - highlights on BBC cause I refuse to give Sky the money. Not bad mouthing Sky - more the beeb's fault for letting it go. Hopefully the merc's wont run away with it too early this year I gave up sky and the TV license as I realised I was paying £35+ every month just to watch the grand prix and news 24 before going to bed. Now I just watch F1 on iplayer and fell no worse off really for the pleasure.
