Did my tax online, direct debit BUT I've misspelled my name by one letter. Its all gone through but says if I've made a mistake to contact the bank. I'd best ring them in the morning then.
I've just set it up and its not showing online yet. Could I cancel it and redo it?

If they've said it's gone through it's possibly all ok, if not they will contact you to re-submit I'd have thought? I wouldn't try anything too technical if you can't spell your own name though  |

tbh you can get away with no tax for up to a month as long as you back tax it to when it ran out but i wouldn't push it
a few days wont matter so dont panic mr mannering

DVLA will contact you if the bank refuse it,you should have an email from DVLA with details just ring DVLA let them know, they are getting hot on untaxed cars and have Vosa teams Clamping them with £200 release fee,but they usally do it after a month of untaxed not declared Sorn,but to be safe give em a ring to set mind at rest
