Hi everybody I bought my riva yesterday, it arrived today, very impressed with the fast delivery! I followed a video on how to fill the cartomizers, and I am now vaping! yey! I have a question though, I must have put about 30 drips of e- liquid into the cartomizer before I thought it looked wet enough, is that too much though?

Not really, about 28 is the usual, so it should be fine.

Good to hear you're off and running Yummy. 30 drops is an excellent figure and means you should be fully filled. If you get any gurgling, just blow through the cartomiser into a tissue to remove the excess liquid. Always better to be over filled, than under filled.

Great news on your purchase and success today Yummy! If you've overfilled your cartomiser, it will sound a bit ' gurgly ' when you vape with it . . . if it does, give it a blow through, with a piece of kitchen towel underneath the connector end to absorb any excess juice. If it doesn't gurgle however, then you're fine . . . it's easier to underfill a carto than overfill tbh. Edit to say . . . Jason beat me to it.

You've been given absolutely tip-top advice by everyone so there's not much else to say but if you are concerned about anything come along and ask questions - join in with the chat etc we are a little community here but all that give vaping a try or are open to new thoughts are welcome

Hey everyone! Just wanted to thank you all for your help, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my riva Since saturday I have only had 3 fags, I met a friend yesterday and had a fag while I was with her, but it tasted horrible, made my chest really hurt and made me feel sick, I much prefer my E-cig! I got some e-liquid in my mouth yesterday and I got a blister, thought I might have had to go to the docs today because it was getting worse but it seems to have gone down today. I'm not sure if it was the e-liquid that caused it though! My boyfriend bought one after having a go with mine, had lots of fun last night trying out all his e-liquid so I might buy some more tonight, my favourite is apple tobacco so deff going to be buying some more of that!

Brilliant news Yummy I doubt it was the e-liquid that caused the blister, but if it happens again, let us know & we can see if we can help.

So pleased you like your Riva and great news that your BF is on the journey with you During the first couple of weeks vaping instead of smoking I got 2 cold sores and my gums were hurting and bleeding slightly. I think it was more a reaction to stopping the nasties than a reaction to vaping. Go gentle on the toothbrushing, you'll not have as much sh*t to scrub off anyway and invest in a good mouthwash. Bonjella is always handy if you have gum/mouth ulcer problems and if you are prone to cold sores keep some aclivor ointment handy. If you do get juice in your mouth rinse out with some water just to be on the safe side. However, if you are concerned in any way about your health see your GP Happy vaping
