Posting e liquid

Have you ever been asked by post office what it is your posting? My local post office has started giving everyone the second degree, making sure you not posting batteries etc, 
went to post some elquid the other day and they must have phoned everywhere to check it was ok to send, don't have this problem with jewellery so now going to tell white lies rather than have third degree

It's usual for them to ask, I used to be economical with the truth but now I have the benefit of being able to post anything from the mail room at work and they never ask

I'm afraid they get told to mind their own business, just like doctors surgery receptionists who think they have the right to ask me what the matter is when i phone up for an appointment. TBH you can tell them that it's pretty much anything and they cannot check. I believe that they ask so that they can try to sell you insurance because the next question is normally about it's value.

No they ask in an attempt to ensure your not posting anything your not supposed to in relation to their rules which isn't unreasonable to be fair.
if was only about insurance then they'd only ask you the value

I go for plumbing parts, electronic components, food flavourings, stainless steel tubing. .. but sometimes for fun I say what it actually is and they are non the wiser?

Very true but if you get an inquisitive type you may be there longer than you'd hoped

For juice its always food flavourings or essential oils.

For other vaping related stuff, normally tools or plumbing bits.

It's funny though, the posties come into our shop every day to pick up our online orders... never do they ask what's in the jiffy bags!
