Nor me perp, hubby has got himself a new wifey as I have smoked all the years he has known me (35 ) so he is still in a bit of a daze over it. I think he is secretly expecting me to go back on the nasties ( not wanting me to but expects it as its just something I have always done). Mind you old friends of his already think he has a new wife as when he met me I was still using my first name which I loathe with a passion but didn't then have the gumption to tell mum I did and wanted to use my middle one, I was in my 30's before I plucked up the courage to start to use it, not that mum ever did, but hubby bumped into some old friends a while ago and mentioned me using the name I use now and they were shocked and asked him when did he divorce me as they thought we would always be together, so he had to tell them same wife different name Just wish the bank and passport people would be so obliging, but bank trots out money laundering objections and demand I remove the name legally and couldn't do that as mum adored it and decided as bank want it better keep it on passport. Everything else though has my second name first and my first name second The small amount I am spending on e-liquid and bits and bobs basically count as nothing to him after what I used to spend on nasties. Am now looking at the SD Keyring for out and about in certain places where the Riva might be a tad to big, but that will have to wait till next week as the posh do at weekend is costing enough and why do hairdressers charge the earth to have your hair put up, doesn't take them anywhere near as long as it does when they blow dry curls into my long locks.....but thats' a gripe for elsewhere. As yet anything else is a bit to much for me although I have ordered an echomiser to see what it is like, just the one and hopefully a clearomiser next week. Oh had to go and bury one of the gamucci batteries in the garden as I used it and the cartomiser went very hot and realised the battery had switched on and was staying on and slowly getting hot, so didn't want to chance shorting it in case it went up, so out into garden a quick hole dug and its buried, if it goes bang hopefully only damage will be a lot of soil as its all loose as been dug over recently for fruit bushes. So if you hear reports of an explosion on Merseyside it will be my battery - actually been in the earth 5 hrs now and i think its power should have drained by now. Of course the dogs would go keep wandering over to that part of the garden, typical. Who would have though vaping could be so exciting, but if that is the only battery problem I ever have that will suit me.

I have never used a pass through battery Prep so I am not entirely sure, but I think it has something to do with plugging it into a USB socket and the e-cig so you can vape away without killing the battery I am sure a more experienced person will be able to advise you better, sos.

Tinker has hit the nail on the head Prep more or less. . . there are variations on Pass Throughs as with everything ecig related. Some, like the Garry Dibley Pass Through aren't a battery as such, more a mod with a USB connection. I'd post some links for you to see the differences, but I really must get ready for work, so apologies . . .I'm sure someone else will do though when they come online.

Hi Prep, i've got all my stuff in a couple of toiletry bags at the moment. I would like one of those small plastic toolboxes with the lift out compartment on top? I've used them before for craft supplies and you used to be able to pick them up quite cheaply in Woolworths. Not sure where to look for them now though? (note to self - check the spare room for redundant craft supplies in toolbox, then re-use toolbox for vape supplies!) Joking apart, i do have one somewhere but the lid is broken so would like a new shiny one for my new shiny supplies! For out and about I've got a neoprene camera case that I got out of B&Ms for about £1. you can get a couple of Riva batteries in there plus spare carts and a small bottle of juice! I found screwfix do them, with the removable compartments, they also sell all different sized compartments for them too. Too expensive for me though, they did have a 10 compartment organising case that wasn't configurable for £2 though, gonna go to the one round the corner and have a look at it, if it's suitable I'm getting a few www.screwfix.com/c/screws-nails-fixings/storage-trade-cases/cat840244EDIT: Actually this one looks good... www.screwfix.com/p/forge-steel-20-compartment-organiser/43827I've just picked up a plastic organiser box similar to the ones in Alvo's links, for £2.49 from B&Ms!

What does it mean a pass through battery its what the elf (Elips) mini kit has????? The elf is a copy of the ovale elips - an interesting idea. A full review of it explaining all its features is here: www.stevevape.com/e-cigarette-reivew-elips-electronic/The main thing to be wary of is that it is a completely proprietory connection system i.e. you cannot use the battery or the tanks on anything else. As perpy said, a passthrough is simply a device that you operate by plugging into a USB port - it is not a battery. But you can also get batteries that charge by plugging into a USB port which you can use while they are charging. The elf is like that, but you can also get standard 510 passthrough/batteries like this one: www.vapeescape.co.uk/joye-ego-t-1000mah-battery-%26-pass-through~258Hope this helps

All new kit has got to be put on hold, hubby came home today with a letter from work from 15th April he will be going on monthly wages and from 15th March he will get his previous weeks wage and then nothing until the 15th April. So have to hope the Riva and the couple of gamucci batteries will not fail. I will be able to buy the odd bottle of juice and some cartos if I must but zilch else until May. Just before Christmas they put everyone on 20 hr contracts and basic wage and now this, rumours abound that no one will get paid in April as firm will close down after March 15th but they don't want to pay redundancy pay. Mind you Mothers Day is not far off so might just might be able to talk my kids into buying me new kit as they are very pleased about me stopping the nasties and they always are at a loss what to buy me so now can tell them

That sounds tough for you both. I hope it doesn't go to redundancy all you can do is take each day as it comes. I know it can be costly starting vaping but so long as you risist shiny things and trying every new flavour of juice you see it should cost you substantially less than smoking

Yes not worrying to much, as we got a bit of a warning that wages were going down to part time and basic rate so got a bit of a stock in which means never have to buy a lot shopping wise and with that I was still managing to buy the nasties so I know I can keep myself in e-juice, will just buy a few more before we hit the no money month, but no shiny new things for a bit, so far riva batteries are lasting 2- 3 days each charge and behaving so as long as they continue I will be ok. At least they did give us a months warning, so am shifting all bills to the date he will be paid and get all paid over next few weeks so that will be ok. No debts thankfully, MSE helped me avoid them. I might just splash out on a third Riva battery so that hopefully I will not be left without one.
Have ordered - yesterday - an echomiser to see how that is plus some more cartos, so if I remember to use the attie rather than a carto for a new juice I should have plenty - its just a scary thought being left without as I know I would aim for the nasties no matter how broke I was, but so as long as I have at least one working battery to use until a new order arrives I will be ok....can understand why everyone ends up with so much kit though, I didn't at first, its a security blanket, as well as liking the new kit. Anything to avoid the chance of a nastie being the only option

I'm just so sorry you wasted money on an adapter that doesn't work and I feel so guilty about it, I honestly thought it was a 4081... ((((Alvo))))), nothing at all for you to feel guilty about, it was me that said I was fairly certain it must be an RN4081 from the thread Prepare, so sorry to hear about your husbands wages being cut

Alvo don't feel guilty, it wasn't as if it was a large amount, can still use the cartomisers not as if they are wasted.
Well bitten the bullet and thought before I spend anymore money I will get my SD Keyring ( I like the eclipse but thought it might be better getting something I can use with most bits and bobs I have) so its ordered and have ordered a small cocomel, got to try it after all the talk on here about it - went mad and got the 5 samples for £12.99 so apart from one flavour I like ( vanilla tabac) all the others are new and hopefully they with what I have should do me quite a bit.
I received my echomiser today and have to admit I like it. I found at first not much taste or hit but as I continued to use it they both came and it definitely seems a smoother vape. I ordered the needle bottle tops to fill it up and the certainly made it very easy to do so.
So that is it no more nice shiny things now till April or even May now till finances are under control but at least I should have no excuse to want to buy an analogue.
Oh been a gorgeous day today, temp went up to 19C here and sun was shining, a glorious day.

Nice one preps (I like that Gordy, certainly easier) I killed the echo I obtained from my swap deal earlier. It was such a lovely day that I went to the match in jeans and footy top only, no coat, so no nice and loose pocket to put my riva in, and I forgot to turn it off. Suddenly it occurred to me that I'd forgotten to turn it off, went to take it out of my pocket, and it nearly burnt my hand, it had been forced on constantly in my tight jeans pockets. Fortunately the battery still works, but I dare not try the echomiser, figured that the coil and filler must be burnt, as it was so hot.
