Laziness works for me clairea   permanent stubble , grew the whole lot last year but looked too much like George Clooney so shaved it off

I used to get razor burn from hell so one day I said bugger it and never shaved again lol.

I had a full set in my 20s. It was a brought on by a Cunning Plan to avoid having to shave, which was and is a blooming pain to keep having to do. But after it grew out, the tache in particular was prone to sprouting extra long hairs that I'd nibble on (a particularly weird thing to see as you'd imagine) and so trimming it, and the beard that never continued to be quite symmetrical, ended up being as much of a faff as running a razor across me mush! As Alan Partridge would say, "I've been hair free for... 30 years.' (in the neck and chin departments at least)

Did some geeky beard research last night.

I shaved yesterday so am determined to give it at least a month to see how it goes.

Spat some coffee out this morning laughing when I found this so thought I'd share.

Had a moustache for years, but not a beard. As a serviceman it wasn't allowed. Gas masks don't work too well with beards. Funny how fashions change. When I grew my moustache it was all the rage in the 70's, but beards seem to be more popular now, and moustaches not so.

Had a tache for years but only once have I grown a beard. I thought it might keep my face a bit warmer, working outside in the winter. It was itchy for a couple of weeks but I looked a bit weird with it, wife also disliked it. The boss came in one night who I hadn't seen for a few weeks. He said "what's with the beard, you look a right c...." . He soon scuttled off when I looked at him funny and "ah, but I can shave it orf"

What I've wondered for a few years is, if they can give you pills for all sorts like headaches, blood pressure, contraception etc, why can't they make one for men to stop growing facial hair? Or have they and the big shaving company's have kyboshed it. I hate shaving!

They have, it's called Oestrogen, the side effect is your breasts start growing
