Advances in e-cig technology are currently moving at a very fast rate, and in order to ensure that we are able to offer the best range of products possible, JAC Vapour have made the decision to stock a number of advanced options for more experienced vapers. This will mean that our customers have access to a full range of products, which include box mods, mech mods and the increasingly popular sub-ohm tanks, all at affordable prices. We’ll also be stocking various coil building accessories, together with a high quality range of our very own IMR batteries. If you would like to check out our full range of new products, take a look at the Advanced User section on our site (we’ll be adding more options over the coming months). We also have some of our IMR batteries to give away for review, if any forum member is keen to give them a try and review them? Numbers are limited to 2 per reviewer and we have a total of 10 available. If you’re interested in reviewing them, please get in touch and PM me with your address details and which model(s) you’d like to try. Full specifications for each battery are available to view on our website. You must have been a member of the forum for 6 months or more, and reside in the EU; it’s first come first served. T&C Apply.

I had a quick look at the 18650 and well done for not rating them by the pulse discharge rate and giving a specification, but they are very expensive IMO and it's not hard to guess which cells are under the cover (not a bad thing).

No, too expensive, say I liked the 20 A one, I probably would, I would have to say just buy a 25R or other re-wrapped 25R like the AWT instead.

Yep, very good batteries when the 20amp continuous discharge rate is adhered to.

Been vaping for 4 years, been on the forum for...oh hang on i'm out. ***EDIT AFTER THE ABOVE COMMENT*** OP JAC Vapour would be better choosing people that already use these type of batteries rather than randoms that might just sling them on ebay? Can i suggest that all potential reviewers are made to post a photo with a dedicated number (written on a piece of paper) included to ensure that it isn't a photo swiped off the net with the batteries that they are currently using as the main subject? Op can then decide who would made worthy reviewers?

Whereas I'd love a couple of batteries, I neither have the equipment to truly test nor am I sufficiently organised. I'm sorry to say that I agree with regards to price and, as a buyer, I'd really like to know what the cell under the wrap is if I'm approaching a premium price. If I was to be buying CD 20A batteries, say, AMT, Sony VTC4's, LG INR's or the new AW's I'd be looking at an 8 to 12 price point depending on the cell and seller rep. I couldn't countenance £15 / £28 for a pair and fear that you will not do well with them as most advanced vapers will have a fair idea of the market. Saying that, the pricing your bundling them with if a buyer is looking at, say, a Smok Xpro, is competitive and unlikely to generate ill feeling if the customer subsequently shops around. Reconsider price point and it's likely to be good within your business model. Qudos, as VapingBad said, for publishing the specs like that.

Way too expensive JAC Vapour for the imr's i would expect to pay your price for 2 batteries on current average prices across other UK vendors

Hi everyone,
First of all, thank you so much for the responses. We've received a number of PMs from interested parties, so for the time being we are covered. We'll be in touch with those who messaged us shortly. We may end up repeating the giveaway at a later date.
Thanks for the suggestions in terms of how best to vet people. We decided that it would make sense to give long term forum members first shot at this, but we may reconsider how we do things next time. We haven't done a lot of giveaways in the past, so we're still learning!
Finally, in terms of pricing, most of the cells are available as part of various starter kits (including with the SMOK XPro, or the Guardian 2) at a reduced rate. It's possible save a substantial amount against the price of the batteries when purchasing a device as well. We do monitor our pricing on a regular basis, however, so things may change in future.
Once again, thanks to all for you interest. We look forward to doing this again sometime!
