The EU doesn't receive any taxation from tobacco, nor - as far as I'm aware- has there been any suggestion that they will in the future.
In fact, there isn't even any mechanism in place that would enable an EU-wide tax.

Let's stick to criticising the EU on what they ARE doing?

As for vaping, they should ban it because everyone knows that smoking and other legal highs are soooo much safer
