I bought a couple of EARL batts from them and one of them has refused to charged, I have only used it for 10 days The reply has asked me to do a video and send it to them? I replied that I don't 'do' video's and would not have a clue how to send it to them anyway, I asked them for other options to resolve the matter and am awaiting a reply. Just thought it was an odd way to solve my problem, seems they don't believe me and want proof! A little bit annoyed by their attitude, hope they come up with something better, like sending it back to them and they replacing it. What do you think?

Doing a video could be quicker and bypasses the need to send it back, they do this to speed thing up and to avoid refunding your postage, but it doesn't suit everyone. They will probably ask you how much it will cost to post back and they give you a gift certificate very quickly after you attach a photo of the receipt form the Post Office to a support ticket. Then you would have to wait for them to check it before sending a replacement or refund,

It's seems to be a standard request from many Chinese Vendors, asking for a video Phoenix . for anything defective . . . I guess they can easily be taken advantage of without some proof, not that I'm suggesting you are for a moment. It's happened once to me, like you I said I wouldn't have the faintest idea - because I haven't! I did get refunded . . . . .

Phoenix ., thinking practically - what kind of phone do you have? I have Samsung Galaxy 2. I have taken photo's one of the dead batt trying to charge, and using another Earl batt with the same setup showing it is charging. But even if I could send these photo's to them, it proves nothing, I could have turned the 'dead' batt off? I know it wasn't expensive but the point is they should be lasting at least 3-6 months.

Yeah its a standard response is the video thing. One poor fellow after complaining of an item missing from his order was asked to take photos and make a video of the missing item.

I returned a £6 vamo chip in Jan that was DOA. They promptly returned my £3 postage that I paid to send it back to them. They still reckon they havent received it after 4 months. I hope you have better luck with getting yours sorted.
