Now with the new sub ohm tanks out is there much difference these days between the two? You can get some really good vapour clouds with the new sub ohm tanks and the flavour has really improved, just wondered is it more closely matched these days and now it's just down to personal preference more than getting improved flavour and clouds?

Getting close but no i still think you get a more dense concentrated cloud of vapour from a dripper. I don't think it'll ever be on par simply because of the limits on how wide a chimney you can have in a tank. If the chimney bore in the tank could be like 6mm+ it would vastly improve the performance but it would radically reduce the juice capacity of the tank and i don't think people are going to happy with having to fill their tank half a dozen or so times a day.

Dont forget, two or three times as much vapour means you are vaping at two or three times as much juice. Your body will probably get used to it and it may become habitual. Try and go back to where you were and you may find it doesn`t give you a satisfactory vape anymore

Since my atlantis first arrived none of my old kit cuts it. The mini nautilus' have long moved on and I only actually own sub ohm stuff and a couple of redundant drippers now. And juice consumption is anything up to 10ml per day now.

Cost was one of my main motivations when quitting the smokies. My 4mls a day costs me less than 40p

wounder when the bottom tanked sub ohm atty will be here They have been here for ages: genesis atties, EG the Origenny 2 can keep up with 40 W (probably a fair bit more)(40 W = 0.3 to 0.4 ohm on a mech) on the second largest air holes, no dry hits, no leaks and lovely steel wicks for the best (IMO) flavour. They have the option for 2 4.5 mm cotton wicks if your liquid doesn't like steel, tried it once but 3 mm steel rope wicks better and tastes better IMO. They have an even smaller chamber than the Origen V2 dripper and I know that gennies are not for everyone, but it seems to me they have all the advantages of the dripper and more. (The GearBest clones are the best I have come across) E: and a 4 ml tank in a small form factor.

They are getting closer but IMO they are still a way off. None of the tanks that i currently own deliver like a dripper, however i have my reservations about the Lemo V2 which sees a increase in airflow over the V1 and the flavour was awesome.

There's aso a place for drippers for the DIY juice makers. You can't be messing with a RTA when testing your mix.

Now only wide open airflow will do I find the goblin gets pretty close but not quite there compared to something like a derringer or freakshow mini.

Until I got my squonker I only used drippers to try ejuice and now I make my own ejuice and not drippers (I am not that technically minded, to test them) but I still prefer my tanks maybe it's because I am to lazy to carry liquid with me all the time, but I was just curious as to the differences these days,
