I read somewhere or saw a vid of a tip to stop the adjustment screws in tube mech mods from unscrewing as they wear. Some of mine are starting to do this resulting in battery rattle. The vid said to get some copper tape, a small piece scrunched up and inserted in the screw hole would help to tighten the screw thus holding it in place. What is it I need to buy? as I have seen copper tape or ribbon on Ebay.

Probably not much use to you but... You can buy real copper solder ( not the lead tin elect stuff) and not brazing rod stuff its almost identical in colour. On one of my mods switch kept undoing as screw was wearing out. So I took screw out and blasted it to ungodly heat 650+c and melted about 4-5 mill of the solder into it. Because of its nature it flows onto and around the threads beefing them back up as it follows the hottest part of the flame. Cleaned it up and works like a charm. Bit of a hardcore solution but worked lol. Silver solder would do the same thing

What mod? A lot of people think screws are all adjustable but some are meant to be tight and stay that way.

if you have any .4 wire wrap a micro coil and cut the legs off drop it in the hole and butt the screw up against it. you may need to trim a few coils off to get the right length.
alternatively if it isnt screwed all the way in put a small O ring over the threads of the screw ( Ive used small dia silicone tube sections to similar effect) and it will act as a make shift loose proof nut assembly.

It's like that but copper coated on both sides. Searched on Ebay but can only find single sided with an adhesive tape on the other side fartvaper

Copper tape for dealing with slugs ought to do the trick.
Saw some in Sainsbury's or Poundland yesterday. Think it was Sainsburys

You should be able to remove the adhesive with isopropynol to keep the tape tidy sydsut. Sounds like a great idea I see in an fartvaper`s post that the adhesive is conductive in that type. I cant imagine it is going to be anywhere near as conductive as copper though.

It's good enough for shielding guitar cavities with out soldering each strip together which is a pita. but to use in a 510 connector ? hmm... maybe not

I used to be into glass artwork (tiffany shades/terrariums that sort of thing) One of the methods of joining glass pieces is using the copper foil technique. If you think it might help, pm me your addy, I'll pop some in the post

I had to remove the adhesive from a bit of copper tape over the weekend, no isopropynol to hand and meths didn't work so I set light to the sticky side. That certainly did the trick if you like black copper! Easy to polish off though if it's to be soldered or used as an electrical connection of some kind.
