I had it in my head it was "caramelizing" on the coils Des, IE the sugar content/residue when heated, same thing or am I wrong?

Yes, caramelization is the process that turns sugar to carbon when heat is applied.

Put white sugar in a pan, apply heat, it goes brown, and if you apply enough heat it goes black.

Well I've just had a look in the old stash cupboard and noticed that two liquids have turned a really dark brown shade which concerns me as i haven't had this with other liquids. I'm sure they didn't arrive like that and have been in a cupboard since then, not years like. ???

Thing is, people don't worry about toast going brown,
which is essentially what is going on here.

I have a juice in my tank at the moment that was as clear as water when I put it in and it's almost black now. It also tastes burnt if I vape above 3.3 V, so it's lasting what seems like forever. I'm not going to waste it though, I've been vaping it for 2 days now and am still alive - I think.

If Peter Cole wandered in here, he'd likely tll you that he's had a bottle of juice open to the elements for donkey's ages, it's as dark a brown as would be taken for black, and it's not an issue - it still does the job. And so have I. it's just not an issue.
