Dry mouth

Hi there, I'm fairly new to vaping and I haven't given up the fags yet. The problem I'm getting at the moment is a terrible dry mouth every time I use my e cig and its really putting me off! Is this a temporary thing, am I smoking the wrong liquid (I'm using Pure Vape atm 100% vg)  or is it just me. Any information about this would be much appreciated, thanks.

I've just started vaping at the beginning of the month and sometimes get a dry mouth too, just drink more water to compensate. It passes in time.

Yes........more water is the key.

As well as being good advice to drink more than 8 glasses of water a day generally.......vapers need to up that even more as both PG and VG to a slightly lesser degree are dessicants.....they dry you out. You will notice it first as dry mouth......and unless you combat it will also get dry skin too.

The problem with that article is it's written by lay people. The "science" in it is cobblers. Coffee - or tea - doesn't act as a diuretic on anyone who drinks it regularly.
However, glycol in particular does dehydrate when inhaled.

Yes, it's fairly temporary. Sometimes it gets (got) so bad I'd be begging for a pint of fizzy pop with a zillion ice cubes.

One day I noticed it had gone away.... not completely, but far less bothering.

i had this with some ejuice dried me out so fast then others were ok keep at it drink water you be off the smokes in no time

Drink plenty of fluid and find juice with mostly VG, I had the same problems when I was vaping high PG juice. I think many of us forget how essential it is to drink water often throughout the day.

Thank you so much everyone, I cant believe how helpful and friendly you all are. I'm drinking water now and I'm fast going off those ciggies! I'm prefering to smoke my e cig and reaching for that now instead of a fag. Really excited about it coz I've smoked for so long and never thought I might be able to give it up. Going to try some more flavours and look at the different places you can get e liquid from. Love spearmint and peppermint as well as menthol so any recommendations would be much appreciated.
