When you are 45 mins away wrap them well if foil and pot them on *-SARIN-*'s exhaust manifold, sounds mad but I worked in a large garage where one onf the mechanics warmed his lunch like this most days in the colder months.

FRIDAY NIGHT BBQ ATTENDEE LIST AND WHAT YOU'RE BRINGING

1. SpikeyFridge - some burgers, sausages, rolls and tomato and brown sauce
2. DiscoDes - Will bring portable Gas BBQ + Cider
3. Perpetua -- she never goes anywhere without her Man Servant (me)
4. Bluefish-- Beer, wine, and maybe some burgers or summat
5. Scooby- Portable gas BBQ, Cobb BBQ, will heat pasties + other BBQ related stuff

What time does it all kick off on then as we need to taxi in from our hotel.

Got microwave in the van as well VapingBad but no hook up at VF. No not really, don't even have one at home.

Use the van loads and cook almost exclusively on the Cobb. Xmas dinner in the peak district one year and here's a pic of a curry cooking in the Outer Hebridies last May.
Get load of use from it and it's very versatile so well worth the expense.

Please ensure any bbqs are at least 1ft off the ground... s'rules innit. Don't want to have to break a fire extinguisher out.... Again

Please also ensure all products have a reasonable meat content, in case I drop by to ensure strict quality conditions are being adhered to

The BBQ rule is common on most sites even though they are far more of a danger perched on top of a typical flimsy camp table, particularly the Cobb which is perfectly safe used on the ground.

Duly noted though, as is the meat content of the fare cooked on them

Aldi have a "portable" gas bbq for £40 from today link, suspect you need a big car and don't know how good it is.

Of course you know that Shrewsbury has many fine butchers – there's no need to share your journey to vapefest with a sweaty carcass in your car boot, or a rack of ribs in your ruck sack or burgers in your bum bag...

Highly regarded and widely recommended is William Dodds Traditional Butchers in Market Square - only 1.2 miles from the festival site.

I think I'll take a leaf out of VapingBad book and nick mums chiller box and fill it with ice - it makes a handy stool too!
