What was going to be a joke about stocking up on pasties before we leave as I'm terrible with BBQs might have turned into an inspired idea.

No need to heat them up BrenD, at the speed that Simon drives, you'll be there before they get cold!! Seriously though, wrap them in as many towels as you can lay hands on, and they will stay warm for a surprisingly long time. My mum used to cook pasties first thing on a Sunday morning and we would eat them, still pleasantly warm, at 5pm on the beach. You might be surprised . . .
May sure you have mentally prepared yourself for the speed of your trip, broken only by the numerous stops to fill up with fuel. 2 hours should do it from your place I would think . . .

Most people were very late last year due to traffic, I thought I was doing badly taking 50 mins more than planned, no some peps were over 3 hours later than expected.

I dod not get the friday off but finishing at midday so we will be on the road by 1pm and up at hotel by 4pm and then over to campsite by 6pm latest.
