Well the day has finally come!!

I've been direct dripping the last few days & it's been wonderful. Tried a new clear DC carto & to my surprise I prefer the direct dripping.

Had quite a few un-opened atties in my kit, so going to keep the direct dripping up for the time being.

Vaping is a bizarre thing. What works well one time, may not work well another time. It's a constant trial & error thing.

It's also elation & devastation as well lol.

I always advocate new vapers start with a riva battery & 510 atties. This combination learns you a lot about vaping & it's a starter to progressing onto different e-cigs and accessories.

The direct dripping thing for me served a purpose in not wasting cartos on flavours i was unsure of but it's time consuming and it leaks every now and again.

Now i have a mix of flavours i like i'm back to the cartos for an all day vape.

God seven hours ago vaping was not the way forward luckily the vaping gods have stepped in and saved me

Who knows what tomorrow brings though

Still i'm not smoking the nasties so can't be bad

I agree, it has served a purpose which is great. However, I still think riva type batts & atties are a better starter than any other piece of equipment.

You learn to recognize when you have let the attie go dry & why it has happened.

Also, as you rightly say, they are great for trying new flavours as well.

I found that I also know how many drips an attie can take before it floods. Which put me in good stead for trying cartos.

There's loads of positive reasons for starting out with the basic kit. However, I guess it's all up to the individual. I just tend to find that people new to vaping can get abit out of their depth if they plunge to deep into vaping.

I think we all have days Whufc, when vaping seems to be a chore and it would be soooooooo much easier to just spark up a ciggie! And, if you did, it's really not the end of world.

But, it does get easier the more you get into it and I have to say, sometimes the more kit you've accquired to chop and change with, if something isn't hitting the spot for you.

By that, I don't mean you have to bankrupt yourself buying each and every gizmo on the market, although that's fun if you can afford it . . . but just finding/having several juice flavours that you really enjoy can make a world of difference to your vaping enjoyment.

S'wot I think anyways.
