Ok, I'll start by saying I'm fairly new to vaping.
I have a severe liking/unhealthy of the Gizmo. The size and form are fantastic.
Am I right in thinking that any atty put on a mech has to have the coil tailored for mechs?
With regulated/adjustable mods there is the option of adjusting to find a juice's sweet spot. But with mechs it means changing the coil?
I have no problem with that, just would like to know in advance so I can brush up on Ohms law.
Thanks in advance.
(posted here in case new vapers wondered too)

Spot on tim you set the power with the resistance of the coil, IIRC there is a guide in the guide section. And make sure that your battery can safely deliver the current (Amps) needed as there is no safety net.

Mechs for the win, doesn't take much faffing to find the sweet spot. best served in 18650 form, something like the samsung 20/25R's or sony vtc's. Pretty good batteries even if things go wrong due to the chemistry.

IMO Good combi 18350 on a mech > 1.5 ohm (up to 10 W ish) a Kayfun type vape, but either or both the capacity or voltage drop isn't going to give you long, on good condition batts I would max 2 hours at that level, a kick will solve voltage drop, but so will an 18500 to a degree with extra capacity at the same size.

Thanks VapingBad. I know a bit about battery safety, but will swot up on it if temptation gets the better of me. Do you have a Gizmo decoy? I see that they come with an extension for bigger batts now.

Purple efests and Sibeile to name two... I would only do this with a dripper though, not a tank. And only with the batteries that I mentioned from a safe source...

The thing is they don't make batteries, just wrap others but it's what's under the wrapper that counts. Other thing is the rewraps are often seconds as in rejected by the manufacturer because they're not quite up to scratch. Ohms wise I sit about 0.5 in the kfl+ but with an 18650, nice though and one battery generally lasts me about a day.

Hi guys,
Can you suggest a few smallish/daintyish mechanical mods for a first time mechanical mod user (moi)! From an aesthetic point of view I like the things to look nice and not look like an offensive weapon! My current favourite setup is a KangerTech EMOW sitting on an Eleaf iStick. I guess I'm looking for something similar in a mechancial mod. All suugestions/advice greatly received from all you fantastic guys & gals in this superb forum! Thanks in advance!
Edit 1: Can I use a mechanical mod on my Eleaf iStick? Bearing in mind the above, any suggestions please? Thanks!
Edit 2: After thinking, I want to stick with KangerTech so any suggestions for a mechanical KangerTech mod that fits an Eleaf iStick? Thanks!
Edit 3: Size DOES matter! I want something close to my Kanger EMOW which is 16mm diameter. Is there a RBA close to 16mm please? Thanks!

Well a small mech mod is a problem owing to the battery size, the only one I've had that's been small Is the bullet clone. Lovely looking almost a steampunk feel. But mine had a faulty fire button so got returned. I'd say a magneto as I've had one for years and it hits like a champ and just works
