As Chris says no aerial required Dave - got mine to power off the USB port on the TV also which I was well chuffed about, otherwise it would have meant having a messy extension/trailing leads affair.

I've used a WDTV box for years with a 1TB hard drive attached to it plus I can use it as a media streamer from my pc or direct from the net, is there any difference between this and these firestick things?

Now that is taxing my less than minus knowledge of such gubbins snow . . . . as I understand it, these Sticks turn your TV into a ' smart ' one - meaning you can do the streaming stuff and have access to Channels like Netflix, iPlayer, Demand 5 and other such wonders. Which I guess if you can already do that with what you have - there's no difference?

I've upgraded to exodus. Similar to genesis, seems more stable. Still can't get streams to 'the dressmaker'
