Mashup was fantabulous. I was seriouwsly gutted when it went. You can still get and use Mashup, do a search on youtube there a a few tutorials on there to get it up and running on your TV box. Genesis gives me everything I want regards movies and TV shows. Caught the first series of outlander the other week. Just come on Amazon prime recently.

Ooh it works with the TV Stick too When Amazon offered me one for £19 as a Prime member I snapped it up, but I'm yet to have a play with it. Might have to give it a little tweak on Wednesday. Cheers for the link! Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

Is it like an updated "free view" box. ????,so we could watch Sky channels, Virgin Channels etc. Like to try and keep up with latest gizmos. (cant help be updated with robby posting new gear every 5 mins) Been looking at these recently, I run Kodi on the PC but wanting one for the telly. Loads on Gearbest. From what I have read, go for the 2gig option if you are thinking of buying Keep your CC handy jeffc

I run Plex on my Android box on one TV and Now TV boxes with Plex side loaded on the other 2 TV's in the house so I can stream pre-downloaded stuff. I have given up with KODI and the constant updates. I used to use my Android box with Acestream to watch the football in near HD quality but found that it did not have enough "grunt" for the HD streams so I got myself a nice little one of THESE which works wonderfully well. It's the size of a paperback with HDMI out for the TV. I also use it to watch Vapourtrails.tv and can watch and have a chat window open seperately on a 42" TV.

So an amazon fire TV box and follow that guide is what you recommend? I'm sick of paying so much for virgin TV and my contract ends in a few months so looking for an alternative.

XBMC/KODI are amazing....
However.. PLEASE check your internet usage.... ie How much your Data allowance is....
IF you have unlimited data usage... you are ok..
My ISP plan is 100gb of data each month... But.. my ISP charges me £2 for every 1GB,I exceed 100gb..
My ISP state streaming, ie Youtube, XBMC etc is classed as downloading data... therefore this reflects on your usage of data..

That does look a like a good spec mike weaver93, 2GB ram as well, most of them are 1GB. I`m presuming you control it by an app on your android phone?
