The i4 charger at the top of this page looks like one of the early versions with the blue power input. I have one here that I just opened up and the internals look the same. Please note the identification guide posted online for the i4 charger relates to the 2014 version. The early ones did not have copper sliders / positive terminals. Great that you are posting info here, but just wanted to clarify are there i4s with magnetic rails between plastic rail and plated cooper rail version? BTW if you check your profile here you can receive an email when you are tagged, quoted or bookmark a thread.

Can't work out the quote feature.
I'm not sure about the magnetic rails and don't have any here to test any more. If anyone finds one and is concerned let me know and I will check.

Click on profile at the top of the page, then click on edit profile, then select the notification tab. You'll see most of the options are set to never, just change the relevant ones fron never to instant with the drop down boxes then select save

I have a D4 and a D2 and they passed the magnet test. The plug on the D4 though is bonded but not with the red fuse carrier. Dont really want to open it up but will if anyone thinks it is worth doing.
