I just clean them out with kitchen towel and let them drain upside down for a day or two. I do burn as well. Just hold the button down for a couple of secs, blow away the smoke and then do the same again. Perseverance really. Using several atties and changing them regularly seems to help as well.

Have to say Hissie I don't bother cleaning any of my atties anymore, in the early days I bought some cleaning fluid from OK Smokey, didn't make a bit of difference to my atomisers - once dead they stayed dead!
I'd agree with what Chris has said, it's only now into my 5 month of not smoking that I'm beginning to taste/smell a difference in the juice flavours I'm vaping.
All those years chugging away can't have done our taste buds much good.

About once every couple of months I stick my atties in a glass of cola for half an hour. I'm not sure it makes any difference but it does shine them up a bit! It's just occurred to me that I still have lots of my orriginal atties still working..... That's seven months now without a smoke! Lynda

Well done from me also on the 7 months - also amazing you've kept your original atties going for so long Lynda. * Adds cola to the shopping list *

Ok you have talked me into not cleaning the atties Linda, very impressive length of time for having atties still working. Also well done for staying off the analogs.

Well had a better vaping day today. However, tried the 901 atty again & I'm just not having much luck with it.
Not sure if they don't suit the TornadoRiva or it's something I'm doing wrong.
Anyway, I'm seriously considering swapping them for some 510 atties if anyone is interested. I bought a multi pack of 5 platinum 910 atties from TECC. I have tried one of them, the others are still wrapped & unused.

Congratulations to Lyn on her dual achievements Does anyone else think that 510 atties have a slightly smaller capacity than 901s? scylla

Woke up ths morning & started vaping, no sooner as I'd started the 510 atty appeared to die on me. The second one I'm using appears to be going the same way Seems I'm not having much luck at the moment.

(((Hissie))) Thanks Chrissie. Am trying a new 510 atty from TECC. Hopefully, it works ok. It's amazing how much juice gets wasted when parts ain't working properly. I've also used quite a bit of filler too. I've gotten rid of the old stuff, washed out all the carts and put in new blue filler.

So sorry for your problems {{{Hissie}}} I've been using a piece of Jamie's blue filler for days and days and days Haven't rinsed it or even removed it - when it's time to top up I ram the filler down into the cart with tweezers, drip in about 7 drops on top of it, and then slowly pull the "foam" up to the level of the opening with the tweezers (not without a spill over the edge, sometimes). Anyway, I'm just keeping going like that - I think I'm using the first one of Amy's 901 atties (from same lot as I sent you, Chrissie) and it's been going for a couple of weeks, I sh'ink I don't get 100% perfect vaping all the time but it's acceptable all the time, it's nice to have recovered from a bad patch. scylla

I think I just cleaned all the carts and changed filling because I was trying to work out what the problem was. It's hard because I gave up the analogs even before I started vaping, so I haven't got that back up when things go wrong. Great that the attie is lasting you. I have put my 901 atties up for swap if anyone is interested I seem to prefer the 510s at the moment.

I've been vaping today without much success. I've noticed that it seems that air is getting trapped, or at least that's the sound I'm getting when vaping.
Has anyone else experienced this & if so, is there a way to rectify it? I've noticed that when this happens, my vaping goes all to pot.
