It's called 1,3-Propanediol and promises to be better tolerated than PG with the flavour carrying characteristics of PG and the high visible vapour of VG. So good news for those who have trouble tolerating PG and possibly for those who don't like the sweetness of VG, and for those who think big clouds will increase the size of their tallywacker. Bad news for those who think big clouds increase public resistance to vaping. Can't find any info on throat hit.
Chemically similar to PG, the position of one of the hydoxyl (OH) groups is moved. If you want to try it for DIY look out for pharma grade made by the conversion from corn syrup fermented by a genetically modified E. coli by DuPont Tate & Lyle BioProducts although pharma grade made by any other process will be as good. Been around for a few years but new to vaping as far as I know - please correct if you know better.

Interesting....as monty stated the 2nd OH group has been moved from the 2nd carbon to the 3rd carbon. Incidentally, PG is called 1,2 propandiol and is an isomer of the 1,3 version. If you have an intolerance to PG you're gonna have one to this as well. It'll behave exactly like PG as it has the same molecular formula and is often called beta propylene glycol, the normal PG being the alpha version. Something else to note is that it's the same as VG but with an OH group removed. PG (1,2-propanediol1,3-propanediolVG

THIS would suggest it is safe for inhalation of the vapour.

Not seen anyone selling it though. Alibaba will sell you a metric ton for about $1500.

If you have an intolerance to PG you're gonna have one to this as well. I agree. PG was deemed safe for inhalers, using a very similar test on rats, yet some users had a reaction to it. Why wouldn't it be the same for this? I won't be a guinea pig though I'm interested in REAL WORLD (vaping) results. There's a vendor on fleabay selling the el cheapo PG a lot of peeps have been complaining about. He also sells this, but I don't think anyone wants to be buying from him. ETA: This stuff's been around as long as PG. I wonder if anyone has actually tested this, and why it's suddenly been brought up. Maybe someone got a ton of it by accident ordering wrong Another ETA: Aaaah, I see 5 Pawns are pushing it.

Far be it for me to fan the flames . . . . so I'll just make the observation that *-SARIN-* is a Chemist. There used to be something called PEG100 about, which so say was the answer for anyone with a PG intolerance - it had a manky aftertaste I found, so I never bothered testing it long enough to discover if I was tolerant/intolerant to it or not. Perhaps those more knowledgeable than me, will know if this is anything similar.

I'm not saying Sarin isn't a chemist but I find it hard to understand how a chemist could say " It'll behave exactly like PG as it has the same molecular formula " because the statement is just plain wrong as any chemist would know.

Google the stuff, you'll see the chemical formulae are the same. It's the same, but built differently.
