Hectic weekend

Had quite a hectic working weekend with an event up in the Midlands, stressful at the best of times trying to keep everyone happy and things running to time (or almost to time lol). I got through it ok without the need of analogues

The hotel was a no-smoking one, but explained to the day and evening managers and asked if it was ok to use my e-cigarette in the bedrooms and the rooms allocated to our guests and crew. Luckily I took some litrature with me, they were quite puzzled but after explaining what it was and how it worked (sort of) and assurances that no 2nd hand smoke would pollute the atmosphere, they did say I could use the e-cigarette in my room and the rooms specified. I could not however use it in the public areas, which was fair enough.

Anyhoo got through the weekend fine, no urge to go back to analogues at any point during the weekend, had plenty of juice with me, it was such bliss to be able to vape in my nice warm room instead of going outside, was freezing btw, felt sorry for those poor smokers so had a word here and there, have directed them to good vendors and think some may be interested even some of the invited guests who smoked had heard of them but because of lack of knowledge never thought to given them a try, again may have a few converts

Wish however that e-cigarettes gave me more energy........... totally shattered and off to London this evening to the Brits........... hoping I can have a vape or 2 there

Me an a few friends have an events company, we do weekend events for fans of sci-fi tv shows/films, ususally get a few cast members willing to come and meet the fans, sign autos, have pics taken and hopefully have a good time

Tonight is basically downtime but also to support a friend of a friend who is up for a Brit, we're all keeping our fingers crossed for her, although at the mo I think I will be falling asleep at the table lol

I remember reading one of the Ian M Banks "Culture" novels some time ago, in it he described one of the characters as smoking a non carcinogenic cigarette, I sighed thinking "if only"........ couple of years later

Eeeek! I hate Sci-fi, but OH watches every flipping Sci-fi film he can find on the TV, even if he's seen it 10 times before, I'm sure he knows the scripts. He's the same with westerns, drives me nuts!

A trip to Tesco's is about as adventurous as I get, other forays into the real world invariably end in tragedy for me.

Got a mini- Asda, Tesco , Sainsbury and Morrison's all on a 2 mile stretch of the same road near my house and I visit them all on my shopping days..
