Atlantis 2 Coils...

Has anyone had any inconsistency problems with these?



First batch of coils I bought all worked flawlessly and lasted a minimum of two weeks each coil, purchased these online.



The last batch I purchased from a local B&M sucked!!! The first one seemed fine, everything was good. Then the next 3 in the pack I went through in 48hrs! burning up and tasting awful!

the 5th one of the pack was fine for 3 days then the exact same thing.


I always juice the coil first and make sure it is drenched! I was using 90/10 or 100% VG but never had problems with it before.



Anyone have any ideas? Has it just been a bad batch?



P.S these are the 0.3ohm coils I'm using.

I am getting through 2 0.3ohm coils a week atm. I find if you don't put enough power through it they seem to die quite quickly which is why don't use them on a mech.

I have 2 of the original Atlantis's and they come with 2 coils each. IMO these coils that come in the box with the atty lasted ages whereas others that i bought after seemed to breakdown quicker. Far from starting a conspiracy theory but other people have noticed this too. Could be a bad batch i suppose, only buying another pack from somewhere else would put your mind at rest.

I only get 24/34 hrs out of any bought coil, I've come to the conclusion that it's my ejuice ! I mostly vape creamy flavours and am sure that's what's killing em so quickly

I was actually talking about this to a friend who works at a B&M!

I totally agree, it seems like the two they pack with the tank are perfect in every way and probably go through some stringent testing. but the multiple packs of 5 are really hit and miss.

I also found this with the orginal Atlantis. Coils you got with the tank amazing! Purchased packs of coils after that hit & Miss.

Hopefully the Atlantis 3 you can build on.

I did just purchase the lemo 2 to get away from relying on pre-made coils.

Now as good as the Lemo 2 is and I do really enjoy it. It just doesn't provide the clouds of the Atlantis 2.

All I want is an Atlantis that you can build on

I think it may be the same with a lot atties. Not just the shorter life, I've noticed with a Nautilus and my VCT the included heads give a long life and better flavour than any replacement heads I've bought.

There's several sellers of them on Ebay.com ebay.co.uk there's a few but it's the version one without the big juice holes.

I've just ordered two after reading some really good reviews.

I'd say the same applies to Subtank's as well

With subtank I have noticed the heads with the white insulators do not last as long as the ones with the red insulators.

I plaan to try rebuild the atlantis 2 coils in same way as you can with the first atlantis.
Anyone else Tried?
