Yep I really like the buttons on the bottom I got the idea from @windows off a printed mod on Shapeways the only thing is they take the space for a charge board but I never planned to put one in anyway.

You'll find your best purchase is that 3rd hand I couldn't have soldered the chip without one and the big magnifying glass comes in really handy if your eyesight is like mine cos those terminals on the chip are seriously close together, as I told phtumshk earlier the first time I tried I soldered the + and - battery connections together

Tbh VapingBad I'm chuffed to bits with myself, never thought the thing would work and now I know what the fuss is about with genuine DNA devices they are smooth, can I ask about the box in the earlier picture is it one you made?

Yes smarties, it was the 3rd I made and didn't do a thread as it is so much like the 2nd which is linked in my sig & that has a link to the 1st build thread. I love them for the size 75x38x22 mm, quick battery swap and clean looks. I think I will wait to see what Evolv brings out next before doing another unless I make a DNA40 squonker, but finding a small enough box is hard.

Of course I don't mind, I love it that more people are having a go a building and helping each other out!
