good-ish news to those that voted against skulls...the branding on the rear of the smokeless owl has worn off all by itself after a few days on mine. So if you get a terminator with crossed pistols and so on, have no fear, they will be but a faint memory shortly.

The owl cradling a terminator on the rda is still going strong though:-)

I prefer no branding. A small logo is OK but no letters or words. Serial numbers out of site on the bottom.

My thinking was that manufacturers who seem to be obsessed with strange negative images were shooting themselves in the foot by doing it and the numbers seem to back that up. It`s becoming the norm now with the rise of cloud chasing. I dont have any mods with that kind of graphic.

I guess my question would be why class them as negative images?
They're not particularly aesthetically pleasing to me in most cases but there's a difference between ugly and negative if you get what i mean.

I do get what you mean Get Off My Cloud, it`s more about image and the perception non smokers and vapers get when they see those images. In my opinion, it`s all a bit Hells Angels if you get my meaning. From a commercial point of view it doesn`t seem to make a lot of sense going by the numbers either. For me, a brand name is enough and let the design and performance do the talking.

Yes and no.

No i don't particularly think it plays any role in a negative image against vapers, i don't think the anti vaping crowd are particularly concerned with the aesthetics of vaping equipment beyond possibly the designs which are perceived as "attractive to minors".

Yes i would agree the sales figures are probably lower on those devices with those kinds of designs on them but they obviously sell to some people somewhere.
I'm sure Walkers sell a whole lot less prawn cocktail crisps than cheese and onion ones but they still produce them, i would guess they just produce a lot less prawn cocktail than cheese and onion, they cater production numbers to the market for them.

Well that`s my point, anything that attracts youngsters to vaping is bad and gives the "antis" something to jump on. Also the main place you see those kind of designs is on the cloud chasing mods which to me, in public, is a nono. With Walkers, it`s about flavour and Prawn Cocktail are shite

You could argue that skulls could be seen to put youngsters off, whereas there are lots of wraps and skins for mods that have cartoon characters and the like on them.
But I agree that prawn cocktail crisps are rank rotten lol.
