Nic first, then VG (I don't add any PG) so it dilutes the nic immediately, so if I knock it over, it's not a worry about mopping it up and getting strong nic base on my hands, then flavouring.

PG, VG, Flavour then Nic but to be fair I have all the bottles lined up, do all the PG first in all the bottles then VG and so on til finished then as I have finished one ingredient that gets topped off and put away etc, have a bowl next to me and just chuck in the syringes as I go, OCD comes out as I use a seperate syringe for each ingredient so no ingredients can contaminate each other, labels are already written out and stuck on as I go. Had a friend trying to *help* a couple of weeks ago and lord it drove me a little crazy and two of my mixes ended up with the PG/VG mixed up as this person thought it would be a great idea to write it all down first but they didn't change the Nic ratio in the top box of the mixing calculator as I had some 70mg 50/50 to use up as well as my straight 72mg.....................needless to say all mixing has been done alone since

Oh, I wouldn't dare allow anyone to help me when I'm mixing. My mate 'helps', but he's responsible for cleaning syringes, passing bottles to me and writing the labels, nothing important. I have all the recipes on Eliquid Recipes ready to go, so no chance of getting those messed up either!

I just add them in the order they are on the ejuicemeup calculator, i can't see why it should make any difference what order you add things at, as far as i'm aware there is no chemical reaction that takes place between certain ingredients.

I mix with whatever's to hand first but move it out of the way once i've used it. I've had too many experiences of "have i added that already" in the past!

Think I'm odd I premix nic/vg pg @15 mg 60/40 vg pg, on the grounds that I mix most at 20% and most concs are in pg, hence when mixed I've got 50/50 vg/pg @12mg which is what I want. If the mixture is a bit different what the hell!

Nic first - so I can get a cap on that bottle asap - slight paranoia perhaps.
PG or VG next - usually VG to get that bit out of the way as its tedious drawing it up.
Flavour last.
I suspect however the order has no bearing on anything other than your personal preference however

Seems to be a general consensus that it makes no real difference in the final mix what order things are added, as long as they get added only once No doubt I'll find my own preferred order as I get into it, but just wanted to check if there was any known reason for one ingredient before the other. Thanks to everyone who has responded it's much appreciated.

Usually nic first, but after that I go down the list on the calculator / recipe. Never thought it would make a difference.

I'm a lazy mixer. I buy my VG & PG in 100ml bottles.
To start, I pour half a bottle of VG into an empty 100 bottle, and now have 2 100ml bottles with 50ml VG in each. I then add nic & flavour [both PG based]. Next, I top up with PG. Shake and store, job done. I now have 200ml of liquid ready to steep.
Works great for 50/50 mixes.

Best do the flavourings last unless you change syringe (or whatever) between ingredients? Doesn't matter if you get a a drop of nic in your PG, but you might notice a drop of menthol. Strong flavours last of all.
