I like how it becomes an issue when it effects them, this is something we all have been calling for for ages, ie why the hell should we be stuck in amongst Tobacco smoke and its dangers, whilst WE are doing our best to remove tobacco from our live's.

I wonder what the legalities are of being forced (as some are) to vape in Smoking area's, it looks like the Gov are going to have to do some joined up thinking(not much chance) or leave themselves and Employers open to prosecution. It seems incredible to me that all vapers are trying or have given up on tobacco, yet these idiots want us to sit/stand next to smokers.....

Very true! it just makes my blood boil as when ever these muppets become affected by their policys, they dont want it to apply to them .

might not be a popular stance to take in here, but i for one wouldn't want to be sat next to or across from some cloud chaser puffing away on a stinky juice in the workplace.

one or two of the juices i puff on have inspired comments such as "christ that stuff stinks.." etc in social circumstances, so i can understand the stance thats vaping is a slightly antisocial behaviour.

and afaik no one is forced to stand next to smokers to vape, walking round the corner is within the capacity of most folk.

Indeed I did not use to smoke anywhere it might affect others who have not consented and I do the same with vaping. It is just common courtesy.

i do agree with you on the sitting across from some dude that thinks its cool to fill the room
but whats wrong with peps using there common sense(oh i forgot it went out the window when health and safety regs came in) and only using sensible setups for indoors
but at work i can only vape in the smoking shelter and i cant go round the corner ect and when they moan because the wind blows the small amount of vape my gizmo makes in there face im ashamed to say the nemi and 0.15ohm doge come out and i kill a batt in 5 mins opps

decoy so they actually make you vape in the smoking shelter??? who do you work for? got a union? i dont think it would be unreasonable for you to request permission to vape 10 feet away from the shelter or walk off site (if feasable) for a quick vape puffing on your way.. after all it sounds like your being forced to inhale 2nd hand smoke which is the whole point of the smoking ban in the first place iirc, mention human rights as defined by the EU to put the HR dept in a tizz.

i work for a place called boohoo and it lives up to its name 
4 hours between brakes on 12 hour shifts and only 20 square foot to smoke/vape in

Could I point out that this MP is also an employee, and has the right to question rules that affect him and his co workers? I work in different government offices often, and vape discretely when I want to. I never ask if it's "allowed", it would throw them into confusion. I have had the occasional comment, usually from a downtrodden pen pusher, and totally ignored them.
This particular "muppet" is to be applauded.
